Thanx for doing this story in full. I watched the animated show way back when it came out but never read any of the comics, so this was pretty great to experience. CHeers!
Well done, as always, but I didn’t care for the story. Constantine is an ass, sure, but he’s no villain. I don’t buy it. The whole ‘everyone can be Batman’ thing was ridiculous too. Very meh, overall.
My favorite takes on Constatine is that he's a pompous ass who is not a sociopath yet, is so selfish that he's perfectly willing to do plenty of horrible things that could/should easily constitute villainy. At the very least the worst takes on him try to depict him as a hero and he's absolutely not that, just some back and forth across the neutral line in chaos doing whatever serves his interests, even if it is only something to make him feel better about himself for some other crap he did. What I don't buy here is his half-assed attempt at wide-spread evil altruism, maybe he's seeking to be some sort of fascist something or another but that's certainly not him, he'd flake. Him trying to become the Green and what, turn Gotham into a magic garden? nah, absolutely not.
Terry and Kyle are a cool duo, like buddy cops.
