Αfter a lot of searching and testing I will tell you the following about the screen display
Hold down M for ± 8 sec.
Press and hold + button for 1 second can turn on/off the headlight.
Cr cleanup [y] trip Km
S7 Select Mph or Km
b1 Brightness backlight change
OFF Auto off [the number represent minutes to shutdown]
Hd Wheel diameter
b0 Battery volt [36]
Pd Password [1919]
SL Speed limit [default is 25km/h] you can change speed limit in screen display
BUT is not working
Display will automatically quit menu when there is no operation for 7 seconds.
Double locking has done Xiaomi - ΗΙΜΟ and I imagine the only way to unlock the speed limit is the controller change.
* Whatever you do, the final speed with electricity is 25km. From there +km only foot strength.- *
Power button (on bottom): to turn on/off
Trip button (on bottom): to change trip and total mileage
+/- button: to change modes
long press + button: turn on/off lights
long press - button: switch to parking mode

If you conect a 3s batery ( 12v) in series, so you increase the voltage from 36v to 48v, how much is the maximun speed?
I wonder if making the wheel size bigger than 20 would make w difference.
Just got the C26 and I gotta say you're right on the double restriction. Turned it to 25mph but it does a kickback if it tries to go past 15mphs on the throttle.
What did you do to solve the problem
@@stsmma4544 Nothing. Left it as it was. Costly to change the motor to a 350w which would give over 20mph.

Hi mike, thanks for the video. I have ended up here because of a different matter. But if you want to manipulate the top speed, maybe changing the wheel diameter does help. Unfortunatly the speed will be displayed wrong.
I am not very happy with the 3 riding modes. I want them all as pedal assist with different power factors. I think the throttle, horn and gears on one side is not very confortable.
And i think in eco it assists only until 20 kph. Is that same on yours?
I don't know where the password is coming from, it could be that it is wrong and therefore the speed limit is not accepted.
I would try it, but my wife is travelling with mine at the moment.

it is very easy to stop it.
Open the controller box and unplug the cable that goes to the speaker
Everytime you reach 15kmh it will beep, hack is to remove the speaker
What do you mean screen teasing? Did anything happend to your ebike?

its the parking mode, where throttle is off. Search for himo c20 handbook online, where it is described. Its Almost the Same model, but Not foldable.

... the only thing that changes is the speed on the screen display but not the actual speed

@@mikesinarts I think is the opposite : the speed will still be displayed as 25 but the wheel in fact will do more revolutions per minute to compensate for the smaller wheel.

I'm going to add Sr Suntour 1/1.8 xcm Jr forks along with hope hydraulic front, rear disk brake and Use vibe seat post suspension
also there is a cadence sensor by the pedal, so it means if you move the magnet further out you should be able to trick the system.
It doesn’t work in the Netherlands.. I have done everything like this but still I could not change the speed limit..

unfortunately not, the controller must be changed to do more than 25km

in the settings of the screen display I had put 26'' instead of 20'' which is normal

About the speed I think we are screwed up because they were nothing on the HIMO C20 too, about the speed limite !

In some cases, the throttle cable may also become stretched.
That's especially common in folding e-bikes, and it can also result in the throttle not responding at all.
If a damaged cable is the cause of your throttle problem, you'll need to get that replaced

Safety feature, in Med and High, the motor will only engage when you turn the throttle and only after speed reaches 5km/h, in eco mode motor automatically kicks in after 2 revolutions of the crank but throttle has no effect whatsoever.

You can adjust pedal asist by throttle control proportionally when pedallimg also. The amount of throttle works with pedallimg also. In ECO the SW decides based on sensor.how to help you, in MID and HIGH, you decide how much help you het from the motor. Or just drive it as electric 🛴

Have you ever try to change wheel size from high to smallest size such as 16 ??? ( Change the wheel size on the display ) This is a trick. By changing wheel diameter to smallest 16 inch it make the controller think that the motor need to go faster. Give it a try, you will see the different. I alredy did it on my C26 and very happy with the real speed is 30 km /h. Fast enough for 250W motor instead of 25km/h. By the way the speedometer will show a bit slower on the display but infact the bike move faster. Good luck

It's all with tyre size; set it to 29 and set the SL to highest available which is 41. Thank me later. For the C26 it must be set lower to 16 to make it go faster

Nope change to 29 wh8ch is wheel size and enter pin 1919 when you see 0000 , also the one pd to 41 . It works mint at 36 kmph

@@DingoDiary contrary to what carlito said, changing the wheel diameter changes the speed only on the display, but the actual speed remains at 25 km/h max. It seems the motor controller can't be adjusted to higher speed or different wheel sizes.
Did I get it right, that your bike can only be used electronically while pedaling. So the hand throttle is if no use?

OF is the number represent minutes to shutdown and Pd is the password unlock to go in others settings like to change km/miles.

Hello. It doesn't work for me either. It could be another password other than 1919 a service menu and from there an unlock. Sure it's electronically limited from the controller but we don't know how to remove the limit. Surely the manufacturer knows how to unlock it easily.

I did not found any contoller in the web that fits to the default connections of the installed components (e.g. 1to5 Cable Connector with 10Pin JULET version; I only found some with 9 Pin). So you will also have to change the 1to5 Cable to a 9 Pin without knowing if that works (do not know what the lack of the 10th Pin will end in). Also the connectors at the installed brake handles are 2Pin and male ones (I only found 1t5 Cable with Male 3Pin JULET version, so you also have to change the brake handles). Any volunteers? ;-)

Actually, I’ve solved it now. Select wheel size to 700c or 29 then your top speed is 20.1 mph. The limit is motor and controls module.

I’ve also noticed that you can plug the bike in and ride at the same time, so if you have a battery bank with a barrel port that can push 42v @ 2amp it’ll give you a bit more life!

This doesn't change the speed, just the calibration for the speedometer. Speed sensors need to take into account wheel diameter before they give you a speed readout.
