"Tanking" implies deliberate action; we are simply, that bad. We are lucky, if there are a half dozen players on this team that should be protected from being cut or traded. If we can select one of the two top QBs next draft, do it, otherwise trade down and get more picks and clean house. Same with front office including coaches. The way Miami played, is what we want. When they lost their LT, they didn't move around their oline, they brought in a new player. Rivera's drafting scheme of players who can play multiple positions is just another way of saying "Jack of all trades, master of none". How well did that work out with Davis; he is only now getting back to his game after messing with his mind trying to make him a MLB. SF lost 3 games in a row with Trent Wms out; you need an elite LT even on good teams, to anchor the line.

I stepped away from this organization when Alex Smith broke his leg. Beyond the fact if just being sick of watching really great QBs run for their lives 25 years, because this organization NEVER cares about building a successful team...they just wanted the big names in the draft to sell tickets and jerseys...that's it. My decision to stop watching the NFL goes beyond refusing to give Dan Snyder any more money, the game itself has become a spectacle, simply to bring money in and have highlight 80yd TD passes every week. Flags are thrown every 4 downs...QBs can never be touched UNLESS it's a Washington QB(which is why so many had career ending injuries in Washington)....and running the ball is just a bygone part of the sport. The woes of Washington have been the same since 2003....they have no offensive line. The organization refuses to spend quality draft picks on Lineman. They will get ONE and think he can anchor the entire line and just fill the other 4 spots with undrafted guys or trade for back up lineman from another team. If this team does not pick up 3...yes THREE lineman with the draft capital they have this year, kiss Sam Howell goodbye. Sam Howell can win games...and if he has protection, he can do it without a solid Defense. The biggest switch in Washington this year is that the defense has lost games for Washingtons...where it used to be the defense coming up big and giving QBs like Heinicke a chance to win and they blow it. Defense needs help everywhere. You have ONE safety, ONE CB, and TWO D lineman....4 great players cannot carry 7 other shitty players...but Washington needs to go all in on protecting Sam...getting him another solid WR and a TE who can catch AND block...that needs to be their draft focus in April....
