Emergency Video System | Video Calling Emergency Responders

Operationalised at the SCDF Operations Centre (995) and Police Operations Command Centre (999), the Emergency Video System (EVS) will augment Home Team’s emergency response. Jointly developed by SCDF, SPF and HTX, in collaboration with ST Engineering, the EVS will enhance real-time situational awareness of an incident. It will also facilitate decision-making of the respective Operations Centres and emergency responders when responding to an incident.
With today’s launch of the EVS, you may expect the following when calling ‘995’ or ‘999’ for emergencies:
✅ The ‘995’ or ‘999’ call operator will request to activate the EVS when necessary, and if you are at a safe location.
✅ Upon consent, you will receive an SMS with a link to transmit live footage of the incident to SCDF or SPF’s Operations Centre via your mobile phone.
✅ Your real-time location will also be shared to assist emergency responders to pinpoint the incident location.
