- The Singapore Civil Defence Force has rolled out a new purpose-built vehicle to treat first responders who show signs of heat injury as they battle a blaze. This is Dr Ting's idea in which the SG govt (Mindef) stole it.
Dr Ting had no choice but to file a lawsuit against the govt because they refuse to acknowledge the patent that Dr Ting already had for the design of this truck.
In the court, Dr Ting eventually exhausted his financial resourves and had to concede defeat against the govt simply because of mounting legal fees.
“It’s a war of attrition,” Dr Ting said. “Mindef not only had the Attorney General defending them, they also contracted Wong and Leow. Why did they need so many lawyers? They kept delaying the case, claiming that their witness was not available. Meanwhile, every delay cost me in legal fees. I have no more money to fight this case.”
Whoever is responsible for stealing the idea and bullying Dr Ting to the extend where he had to close his company - i cant wait to see you being question and punish on the Day of Judgement.

We should definitely invest in saving those who put their lives on the line to save others. California definitely need one of these for their firefighters. Unfortunately the fire is so bad that even if they did have one, the firefighters are too busy to actually use it.

Idk if u read or not, heat stroked firefighters and those above 38.5°C will be sent to hospital while those under said numbers will be put to the less severe cooling facilities before going back to fight. Please read can?

I still don't think that it is a good idea to dip a heat injury patient in cold bath. The human body isn't metal and does not release heat easily via conduction. Heat injury comes from internal heat build up. If the skin feels cold, the pores will close up and prevent heat from escaping and this might stimulate the brain to ramp up its body activities to generate even more heat later on. It isn't healthy for the patient to be dip in water for long duration to try to bring temperature down. Who tf comes up with that idea to treat a human body like a object which can cool down easily by dipping it in coolant?

@@praba991ify Lol... How much water U need to cool someone down after fighting fire for prolonged time? The whole body at such high temperature U can't expect that poor bugger to stomach so much water right. They may still need to get back to fighting the fire afterwards so cooling down the body is much more effective for sustainability of the firemen. Drinking water alone doesn't cool down that quickly.. Once kena heat stroke, the person will be more prone to future occurrences of it, putting the person's life at further risk for such a high risk job.
@@praba991ify anyways one don't always feel when a heat exhaustion is coming, so it's better to play safe and preserve the life of our fire fighters. I'm sure there has been enough cases of such resulting in the purchase
