I loved this chatty video and seeing all the things !! I really love the PP Sept box it’s gorgeous and I love the bird 🤩. I usually love to see CD but not a fan at all it seems more of a late Spring kind of vibe, the colours are not really Autum at all but they could be used throughout the year at different times. Olivia is gorgeous and perfect for September. Thanks so much for going through it all. Oh and kits for your Teachers planner are perfect 👌🏻. Take care

I packed away my September Cocoa Daisy stuff to use during a future summer month. I just can't do those colors in September, lol! Fall is my FAVORITE and I don't want to miss out on a single fall themed month.
After I made this video, I “shopped” my stash and found lots of Cocoa Daisy from last fall. I’m going to use all of that instead. I 100% agree with…I can’t miss a fall theme either!!
I absolutely love the PP September kit. I subscribed in June and the august and September kits are my fave so far!

I'm glad you went back to wide. These boxes are beautiful. I love cocoa daisies paper dangle clips (from the add on kit) but never really know what to do with them.
Yes, it was a great decision! I love the Wide size. I like the dangle clips too but find they get in the way. I always start out using them then put them away mid month.
I also think the Olivia matches your September books beautifully. I wasn’t thrilled with my CCD September kit either, I love Fall, and it didn’t feel Fall at all to me. I have found that when I subscribed to PP, her themes always seemed on point with the seasons, and I looked forward to seeing what she would come out with, but this past year I subbed to CCD, and for me I find myself really missing PP, I have felt that it is quiet often CCD kits seem to miss the seasonal theme..at least for me. So probably for 2024, I will be returning to PP sub boxes. Also, I really enjoyed this chatty video. Thank you for doing these videos and all the hard work that goes into making them.
It does! I love Olivia and Fall…and PP! I’m glad you’ll be returning to PP next year. I find that I plan so much better in them. I’m not sure what I’ll do about Cocoa Daisy come 2024 but for now I’m going to keep getting them. I seem to be in a rhythm with most of the sticker and using them in my PP books.

Enjoyed this one! I have to have a separate HS planner as well, and I'm also in an EC. (The regular teacher one, b/c of the HS version coming out so dang late in the season!) My HS planner is pretty plain, though. I use stickers for holidays and pretty highlighters, but that's about it. All the fun goes in my main planner!
It is plain but I’ve been decorating with lots of stickers! We will see if they make any changes to it next year. I like to get creative in both but am more consistent with decorating in my main planner.
With Cocoa Daisy, I often like some months more than others; don't we all. However, this September kit I actually dislike. I will probably use the standard Dori, but the A5 sheets I cannot bring myself to use. I was beyond disappointed. I no longer get the PP sub-boxes; instead I order the notebooks separately myself. I can order the covers I really like. I did like both covers in your Sept. box. I really enjoy your videos.
Yes! That’s how I feel…sometimes I like some boxes more than others. It’s all about personal taste. Great idea ordering the covers you really like!

Yes, I would select Olivia for September. I have very much the same opinions as you on many of the items you went through in this video. I also thought the sunflower washi tape from PP looked like leopard print!! Lol 😂 I also struggle with some of themes from CD! I feel their September kit definitely missed the mark! So much so that I cancelled all but one of my subscriptions. But I love the October sneaks so far so I may have to go back an reassess my kits! I have severe FOMO!! 😂 I love the A5 size with PP as I have big handwringing and I like to use a lot of washi and stickers so the amount of space works for me. The only drawback is her A5 leathers are always sold out!! I’ve been trying to get a Marigold and a Gabriel in A5 for quite some time. Fall is also my favorite time of year!! 🖤🍁🎃🌻🧡 And I go more than a little crazy with all the fall releases and planner decor!! Love your videos!! Thanks for sharing!! 🙏🏻
I’m definitely leaning toward Olivia and love that you have the same thoughts as me! I’m not the only one 😂 I feel the same as you about FOMO! I just added to my cocoa daisy order 🤪 Here I thought I was good with being paired down but I’m thinking that adding to what I’m already getting will be perfect for the fall months and December. Then in January, I’ll go back to what I have now. Fingers crossed PP gets more A5 soon!!
Love this video! And I am so ready for fall! 🍂 I sub to CD but I feel like the Aug and Sept kits got switched. 😄 I have Olivia in B6 Slim and it is a beautiful leather. Adele is my favorite though so I vote her for Sept. Amelia is a gorgeous rich color great for fall, too. I’ve stopped my sub at PP but I enjoy them through your videos. 🍁 So happy this video is longer. 😊

Adele is great! I agree! I just used her last month though so I’m not sure if I’ll use it again or stick with Olivia. I don’t have Amelia but looks like that would be a good one too!

I am new to Cocoa Daisy and was also disappointed in the September kits. I really was hoping for a fall theme. Fingers crossed for October's kits.

I was very disappointed with both boxes this month. The CD was not appropriate for fall and will be put to use later. The PP monthly planner has had me scratching my head for months. None of them have been in season. I have covered them all with scrapbook paper. Every month I wonder why she didn't choose the journal cover for the monthly calendar. The bird, the hydrangea- not a summer and fall aesthetic at all. The white pumpkin card was my favorite in the pp box.
I agree! That white pumpkin was my favorite too!! Sometimes boxes are off and they don’t meet our tastes…it’s a bummer but I bet there are others who loved it. Fingers crossed the next few months will be great!
Hi Neighbor we are of the same cloth. I got a bunch from Hancanplan. I love the purple mushrooms and have mail coming today. I did get PP large pumpkin and. the latte coffee cup. I am sad to say I will probably going to being goodbye to PP.

So sad you are thinking of saying goodbye to planner perfect. Sometimes you have to make that decision if it isn’t working for you anymore. What are you thinking go of using instead?
I have cut down just to 2 small subs with Coco Daisy, because the kit I keep works great for daily stats for my business daily tracking and notes. I also like the change monthly. I have supplemented most of the decor to Simply Ink I LOVE the simplicity and I like how it looks more adult for my work planner, which I get inserts from Janes agenda this has been very successful for me. Loving it. I am thinking of using Sterling Inks Planners 1/2 year, to journal and script my day and still allowing me to decorative, creative while miminizing and simplifying my storing. I am mostly disappointed that jenny stopped planning with us. Her art is fine but her product is her and when she cant make a reveal or a plan with me I lost interest.
That makes sense. I would love for her to do more plan with me’s! I always love watching those and gained so many ideas. I remember when I was new to Planner Perfect I had a binge watching session on all her videos!
The other options you have for planning sound great! I’ve looked into sterling ink when I was deciding on what to switch to at the beginning of the year but ended up with Hobonichi. You’ll have to let me know how it goes.
@@Libertyschoolhouseplans the cost using Hancanplan and other decorative stickers with a planner that cost is marginal to PP will allow me to have more freedom but I am a little sad to say goodbye. I do remember your journey. I use my planners from PP more as a journal and affirmation of my life and day and keep the task to my work calendar
I do not like the September CD kit. The colors are not what I relate to September. The PP looks great-at least she got the colors more fall like. ☺️
I’m hearing a lot of people not liking September Cocoa Daisy…I ended up “shopping” my stash for more fall items and found a lot from Cocoa Daisy last fall. I’m excited to use those in my books!

I really wish the paper was more of an off white or cream color in the PP books.
The white is hard to decorate with.

It had a linen feel and was an off white.
Yes! I remember that and had a hard time with the switch to white. I’m used to it now but would love for it to go back!
