I remember the first Avanti to fly in America landed at SNA, Orange County Airport. We all came out of our hanger to watch in awe and take in its beautiful design and sound. That had to have been 35 years ago!
Quel magnifique avion: semble très très confortable. Je pense que voyager avec cet avion, doit rendre le voyage beaucoup plus agréable et et surtout...confortable ! Excellent atterrissage et décollage !
turboprops are turboprops they are jet engines with propellers way more reliable than antiquated piston engines like I have in my A36 in fact we have free energy tech along with anti gravity tech since the fifties source Dr Steven Greer so people we should not be paying for energy and we should not have to travel in planes of the present day. Most of you have been dumbed down what I am telling you is secret the bad guys do not want you to know the tech we have. The problem is that we do not know reality as it is kept secret.
A Piaggio Avanti in 2003 set a transcontinental speed record from San Diego to Charleston for turboprops with an average speed of 475.2 knots (546.9 mph), breaking the previous Los Angeles to New York turboprop record of 395.21 knots set by Chuck Yeager in 1986 in a Piper Cheyenne 400LS. Elapsed time for the Avanti's coast-to-coast trip was 3:51:52
I like the style and I like that you can stand up inside. Not many small planes that you can stand up inside. The only drawback is it doesn't have enough fuel tanks. Goes only about 1500 miles.
One of these regularly flies into my local airport, Biggin Hill, UK. The noise is due to the propellers being behind the wing; r/c models with the same configuration sound equally as noisy, even when electric powered.
It is a beautiful aircraft no doubt about it. Long time ago there was a issue about propellers behind the wings which I forgot, maybe they found how to correct it by now.
Mr. Soeberg: It's "Videos"--without the apostrophe. That's how plural nouns are made in English. With the apostrophe, it's a possessive noun, as in "the video's beginning."
In Davenport, Iowa, I saw the plane which preceded this plane. I think it was a Beech Starship. Many of the modern methods that our FAA did not understand at the time.
There were one or two of these planes flying around Reno when we lived there - they are beautiful in the air! They have a particularly loud engine with a weird whine.
Fred Ferd We use use to have a bunch of these based at St . Petersburg Clearwater Airport. They do have a very distinct sound from the exhaust hitting the propellers. I know for a fact that they meet the noise restrictions set by the FAA but because they sound different they are more noticeable. Piaggio's new model of this plane the Evo manages to soften that buzzing noise by using new props and exhaust
Dam that bird is sleek , look's as though even the landing lights retract . We got one that overfly's here pretty much every day , at a guess heading for oxford . Strange noise as it does , that's how you know it's there . Bet it's quick , and should be good on range too .
Stunningly beautiful aircraft. Well done Piaggio. What do you guys think, because my wife hates two wheels and knows Piaggio make bikes, should I say I want to buy a four wheeled Piaggio and live in hope? 🤣😂🤣

Omdat ik al een keer er wat over gelezen had, herkende ik meteen dit afwijkende vliegtuig - silouet ..... hij vliegt gewoon " achteruit " ....
I read a lot of the comments about how beautiful this aircraft is. Possibly an acquired taste, for some reason I’m not feeling it. It might be the windscreen design, not sure, but I don’t think it’s beautiful. At first I actually thought ugly. But after reading others thoughts, I looked more closely...still no joy.
I think it could have only one big motor in the rear of fuselage, 'because the cross section would be smaller and it would be more aerodynamically efficient. It's beautiful and economic, but too expensive.
The Beechcraft Starship was first and a true canard, lacking the T tail on this plane. I have read the Rutan design was made a lot heavier during production. That hurt performance. A lot was learned about building composite aircraft in the process. The Starships are beautiful and distinct when the fly by.
Kind of a strange little aircraft! Beautiful in an odd sort of way. I don't know if I would like the engines behind me like that where I couldn't see them! Can't see them in the Beach Starship either. But then, often pilots in some huge aircraft can't see their engines, such as in case of a bird strike and the engine caught on fire, so I surmise it is all in what you're used to flying!
So far advanced beyond what we can build in the USA - here the power to weigh ratio would make it a "weapon of war" and civilians could not own one. Look at what happened to the Beechcraft Starship - all gone, too much P&W power. Does anyone know just what happened to the 50 or so Starships they made?

This is definitely on my bucket list to fly on one of these planes. So beautiful.

This airplane is simply gorgeous! I can't keep my eyes off her. Thank you for showing this lovely video!
Barbington - Voted the ugliest & noisiest civil biz aircraft in the world!
Beautiful Aircraft!
Profile is superb looking
I’ve seen one of these fly out of Tulsa, Oklahoma a couple of times. It definitely has a unique sound, which is what caught my attention to look up.

....slowly backs out of room 👀
Wow super fast take off. And uses a lot of runway... Amazing little plane.
Just beautiful.
Italian aesthetics at its finest. Beautiful aircraft.
How is it beautiful????!!
Elegant. Only an Italian would design and build and aircraft like this.
Thanks for the excellent quality video of a really attractive aircraft : )
Wonderful.......How nice to be able to see all these beauties!!! Was not familiar with the Piaggio P180AM Avanti......wow!!
Stunning video yet again! I love your channel, thanks for making these.
Thank you for your nice reaction. Grtz.
Gorgeous Aircraft!
Insanely good shot- thank you :-)

They look a bit odd on the ground but so amazing in the air. One of my favorite aircraft.

@@peterng3607 Yes it does look like a catfish.
A high performance/fast catfish.

The new model, the EVO, runs at lower RPM and with different propeller profile, resulting in much less noise.
¡Wonderful thank you so much!
It is a beautiful aircraft no doubt about it. Long time ago there was a issue about propellers behind the wings which I forgot, maybe they found how to correct it by now.
The props that blow air OVER the tops of the wings help to provide lift.
Lovely aircraft! With a cockpit shaped like a race car!

had one fly over my house once, heard that weird sound and knew right away it wasn't one of the usual Bombardier Dash 8s coming

yeah... Ye Awfulle Lawne Mower )))
The sound you hear is not the engine but the tips of the props breaking the sound barrier.

Amazing bird. It's all about lift and zoom with plenty of room aboard.
The One and only Avanti!

I just realized it has all the characteristics of a goose.
What a beautiful airplane!

I am in love with this aircraft, but it sure is noisey! :)
MrSoeberg ~ I've seen one . It flew out of our tiny obscure airport in Hanford Ca. It was mind blowing . Never seen anything like it before or since
Thanks for a very nice video. I can't decide if the profile of the Piaggio is beautiful or grotesque. :)
I think the factory workers got the blue prints mixed up on a Monday morning after a weekend of drinking way too much vino
Grotesquely beautiful! :)
The of my favorite
Sigh! Such a beautiful aircraft. I love to come here just to watch it land and take off.
Linda maquina espetacular
How does the heat from the jet exhaust affect the props?
I live on the flight path to denver International - this plane creates a distinctive, very loud noise
And those new Honda jets are quiet.
Why are the propellers facing backwards ?
Noisy props with the exhaust blowing through them. I'd like performance specs and an inside tour
Fico muito bonito
Nice, very nice.
God I love this aircraft! If Only I was delta different hand in life ..............Just a dreamer now!
EDIT: Thanks for the upload!
dealt a different hand????
Thrust must be a little unsettling with thrust point pushing rather than pulling.
Is it faster reversing props?
Propellers will end up eating a lot of gravel on unimproved runways because of where the landing gear will throw up dirt.
Its not an bushplane.
This is actually the fastest turbo prop aircraft...
This is the coolest acft for small 10 pax business . 102919.
Beautifully bizarre airplane!
run up in full feather?
Was that a P180 engine shut down while that plane was taking off?
'
is this plane with 2 opposite propellers spins...
not spins same time
Cat fish plane but beautiful indeed.
Wouldn't call the typhoons fighter a cat fish.
The cuttle fish bone ...I flown 2300 hours on it🤙😎😂

Gordon McCoy that is true....
Ingles, fucher, ogle
The unique plane I've ever seen.
And right now I can only buy a Piaggio (Vespa) motorcycle😅
👅
Actually are scooters not bikes.
Ugly scooters and can ride 30 years with no problems, just kick and go.
Counter-rotating synchronized and Italian design
what is effect of the sincronization?
As I understand it, the wing is all one piece.
I wish I can fly in this aircraft.
Why fans or propellers are backword? How can plane fly with this technology?
obviously it has to fly in reverse...
its look like 70 years old mama
If you don't care about aeroplanes, you can always pick a Piaggio!

Why are the props backwards?
Noise reduction in cabin as well in cockpit, confort.
As an added benefit the hot turbine exhaust heats the blades and helps keep them ice free in icing conditions.
The props face forwards; the rest of the aircraft backwards. You fly everywhere in reverse.
What Happens if the Canards Break off .
Victor Victor, SHTF!
Fastest personal jet turbo prop in the unverse ...think the new one flies at max 480 mph @ max altitude 51 thousand feet ...
@zion-is-real 51,000 is kind of high for a turboprop.
It has impressive performance.
Knocked the Mitsubishi MU2 off the speed pedestal.
@@wms1650 - Not too far off the ceiling is listed as 41K feet

Similar to the Beechcraft Starship! I loved the look of that one, too bad it wasn't very successful. Ahead of it's time, maybe?

Piaggio,I'm go see your, factory, soon, love,
Had one fly over my house a few months ago too, I always notice the higher pitch engine sound of canards
There is an AVANTI that flys into Exeter - everyone knows it's coming because it makes a unique sound and is very noisy.
How would this be better than a king Air ?
because is not american
Didn't Beechcraft have somethings similar called the Starship?
Yes. But according to the Wikipedia page it never really was a success.
The Beechcraft Starship was first and a true canard, lacking the T tail on this plane.
