    This plane flies faster and higher (FL410), carry more passengers, has more range than most light jets. And burns less Fuel, too. What more do you want? Did I say this new plane cost less than a Phenom 300, PC 24, KingAir, or any twin engine jet that carries 9 passengers ?

      @@totosukatendel9209 Because it makes much more noise outside. Long story short, a "pull" propeller sucks laminar, clean air. A "pusher" prop receives flow that has already seen the wing and nacelle, which is more turbulent. The interaction between the prop and the turbulent air creates much more noise and required a redesign to the P.180 EVO, which has different props among others.

    • @jmwintenn
      @jmwintenn Před 3 lety +1

      it was originally slated to be a jet, but they didn't get the performance they wanted with the jet engines so they switched to pusher turboprops. it's in an interview somewhere.

      You don't know much about the piaggio design do you? Read up on it!It's as fast as most jets in it's class.The lifting surfaces and such. The tail, wings ,and what you call canards.They are not canards! They are forward wings! The are a lifting surface! The whole aircraft is . And yes it's pretty damn fast.
