Called it! The gift game was Donkey Kong Country
If someone only ever had those 3 games on the SNES, that would be enough almost. You could argue that those are as close to timeless as gaming gets. Especially the Mario ones. And Mario 3 on the All Stars cartridge is a contender for the best game of all time in my opinion.

That is the cart. You can see Super Mario World when he cycles through all of the Mario games, It's the first and last game in the cycle.
Instead of giving him Donkey Kong Country, he should have game him another Super Mario Wolrd since the guy likes it so much 😂.

@@germanydietz1984 Let me disprove your "facts" real quick. If you look onto the market price of most vendors, scalpers on the sites are usually charging two times the price.
You need to understand that by the law of supply and demand, a non commercially produced product will always be lowering In supply and increasing in demand, thus leaving to higher market price. Compartively to other similar sites, DK.oldies gives decent enough deals.
From the times i've bought with them too, the consoles were decently maintained and not uncleanly. I feel like you may just be basing your facts off of what you saw on youtube rather then personal experience, which is not a proper way to be a reviewer or critic. This game of telephone is quite silly in my opinion.
