@@MaseTheAce Dharkon was Tabuu's boss in the Dark Realm and Galeem is about the same power-wise, so Galeem would definitely be the boss but I guess Wooden Plank is riding the nostalgia train like a lot of people in the fanbase
@@toony1232not really, dharkon was the boss of the puppet imprisoning the spirit of tabu, but both galeem and tabu are at a power level where they destroyed the world to create a new one, so they are kind of on the same power level

What I meant is that Galeem not only nuked hundreds of franchises' worth of characters and took their spirits and stuck them on puppets on the likeness of the Smash cast, it also completely rewrote reality to fit its own image of how the world should run, which is really a lot more than what Tabuu did. Plus, you know, also doing the same to the Smash cast, including Palutena, a goddess who didn't deem Tabuu a threat to get herself involved. In fact, Galeem kept Palutena as its last enforcer
@@toony1232 you're reading too much into who is where on the world of light board. Bayonetta is as close to the devil as you can get (not counting Kazuya and Joker) and Palutena is the goddess of light, which is why they were where they were, for thematic reasons. Tabuu also killed the entire smash cast and turned them into trophies, then merged reality together using subspace. They also have the same exact "beam" thing going on except Tabuu's is the weapon the villains would use (that essentially just do what Tabuu did but a little worse). Hell, Kirby was the sole survivor of BOTH team wipes (Luigi Ness and Dedede weren't in the blast so they don't count). Galeem and Dharkon are just reskins of Tabuu with a different theming. While Tabuu was about the destruction of everything, Galeem and Dharkon represent the control of everything (Tabuu drowns the world in subspace and leave all things as trophies (dead but for kids) and Galeem and Dharkon rewrite the world in their image and puppeteer everything to how they see fit). Neither would be the boss, they would literally be partners if they used power as a hierarchy.
Also, Palutena NEVER gets herself involved. She was only involved in the cutscene because she's a smash character now, not her lore goddess self. In her own game she never once tried to fight Hades, who was going to end all life, but sent the boy wonder instead.

Back at the Smash House, Simon, Bayonetta and Dark Samus attempt to fix the hole left in the floor left by Tabuu's escape by covering it up with their bed. Just as they’re about to have some fun however, they are continually interrupted by the other fighters poking their heads out of the remaining holes in the ceiling. Fed up, Simon eventually asks Steve to fix all the holes.
You forgot the best part; Simon initially used the bed so he *wouldn't* have to ask Steve for help.

Here is a little fun fact, Sakurai Masahiro created both Tabuu and Galeem to be expies of Corporate meddling. Tabuu, a crack at the word "Taboo", represents Corporate attempts to make it illegal to make characters grow or develop beyond what they are written to be by the Corporate, which is represented as "Turning the characters into Statues", effectively making them static and lifeless as a statue.
Galeem, represents total Corporate control over the characters, making the characters into Puppets of the Corporate to preach their messages and ideals, despite the characters not being written to be that way... Hence why they are basically "Shadows" of the characters.
Dharkon, however, is not any better. Dharkon actually represents the opposite extreme, of being Unlimited imagination, that also comes at the cost of Unbridled Ego... Dharkon basically represents Fanbases that become toxic and downright egocentric, trying to either force their beliefs onto other people, or claim "This Char better than that Char" (ScrewAttack was infamous for causing such "Egofights" to get worse, especially when they barely hide their own biases on which character should win)...
This was why in World of Light, having either Dharkon or Galeem win, was a bad outcome either way, and the only good ending, was to destroy _BOTH_ of them, as it stopped the two extremes from affecting the Smashers.

Not gonna lie, when I first saw the World of Light trailer, I thought Galeem WAS Tabuu. I was a little disappointed he didn't return in Ultimate. I thought he could have been a great boss character, or maybe even a playable fighter.

@@bowserfierykoopaking4235 I'm pretty sure it died recently. Apparently, much of the Matches being skewed to "whatever is trendy/whatever sponsored the recent episode/whatever one of the judges favoured over the other", really tanked popularity.
It does not help that Screw Attack was part of Rooster Teeth, and Rooster Teeth has been Dissolved pretty recently due to Warner Bros tanking the company.

Galeem is looking to get Sephiroth back for slicing them in half and not fixing them with flex tape or with any of the flex family products and I can see this being the one time where Galeem and Darhkon will work together to take back the fighters and I’m guessing at the at of their hit lists are Kirby and Sephiroth
