Willow Review episode 6, where the ending still amazes me. Honestly despite a bizarre plot about mining evil from a mountain nothing surprised me more than confirming Kitt as the worst character of television in 2022. To go through this episode and come away with the conclusion that it should always be about ME, she had to jump through mental hoops never previously thought possible. Willow seems to be like a DnD campaign run by 10 year olds who barely know the rules and the DM didn't really prepare anything ahead of time.
Can't have Cage Face actually catch up with the party in part 5 because he has no stats and the DM forgot to bring dice so running a combat's out...

I have a similar feeling about it, but not 10 year olds, people who are at least 18 but have the maturity of 10 year olds. A really poor campaign with players who only have three characterisitcs their characters have that they keep fawning over again and again and A DM whose only preparation ahead of time was bringing the dice and apes every single scene.

It’s interesting how these reviews get more views then the actual show. The only difference is that he knows how to make things funny
I watch the reviews and then I don’t waste my time watching the horrible programs. I have a tendency to fast forward movies and television that bores me. I would just turn this crap off after the first ten minutes. It is truly unbelievable that a corporation with the ability to hire well trained and experienced people to make their products yet they end up putting out programs with writing and acting this bad.

Shows like these seem to be mainly for reviewers. If you have a monetized CZcams channel or other means of converting a review into money, you can treat watching these shows as work. I do not however see why someone who's just a Willow fan would watch a show written by people who have contempt for the source material. I don't think the reviewers are enough of an audience for a show with this budget though.

This is in a series that has humanised cannibals, insulted heroes who saved the world, argued that evil isn't something someone can do but is something inflicted upon them from outside and shown selfishness on levels beyond belief...
and I never expected that someone would be shaming another person in front of a lava flow because they were forced to choose the fate of the world against their own petty ignorant choices.
AND THEY WANT YOU TO EMPATHISE WITH THAT PERSON AND SHAME THE PERSON TRYING TO SAVE THE WORLD!
These writers are so morally bankrupt that it’s not even funny. They don’t see people as people, but rather just a bunch of collective groups with the same beliefs and ideas. No wonder they’ll choose their own needs over the needs of the world, they have no empathy.

I think right now we can have fun on how bad alot of the shows have been this year, but in some time we will hopefully look back and learn from the same shows how not to do it.
It is rather easy: just do everything they didn`t and you have a good written script on your hand. It is hard to do basically everything wrong. That takes some effort

All of these shows seem to have a completely warped sense of good and evil, attractive and repulsive, etc. If the woke portion of the audience truly experiences a character like Kit as having "Empowerment!," rather than being the insufferable mess we know she is, it might explain part of why the West is in such a state.

The differences between my comics and those woke films is that mine is seen on CZcams only while you can find those others on Netflix. Also, another difference is that the woke protagonist is shown for the villain they are in my comic book series while in woke shows, they are unfairly shown as the hero when in reality they are the evil villains in denial.

I guess the difference is that Galadriel Prime would be entertaining as a villain, while I feel Kit would be completely insufferable regardless of her framing. She is evil, for sure, but she wouldn't make for a good villain.

The Willow show writers, and most people in the entertainment industry, evidently believe that everyone should shirk their duties and only pursue their own self-interests, never endure hardship, never be kind or selfless and never make difficult choices for the benefit of others. Discipline, courage, compassion, sacrifice, duty and honor are foreign concepts to them; they cannot understand such ideas and despise them, so they try to push their own warped values in order to make themselves feel better.
I like how Allagash spent more time explaining why he was staying behind than he bought them by doing so, and then Kit proceeds to squander double that by having her little emo tantrum with Elora afterward.

That's what they want the audience to do, so that the brainwashing to flip good and evil around will work better.

Or just throw evil at people, turning them evil, and enabling them to throw the evil they got hit with at someone else to also turn them evil. As soon as I saw Kit in that chair with the cuffs over her wrists I thought 'three's clearly a massive gap above them that she can just pull her hands out'. Amazed that the writers decided to leave it that long before she 'escaped'.
Usually people who would like watching a fantasy period piece would be more interested in a script that presented the actors actually sounding like and looking like they lived in that time period than a script written for a “modern audience.”
Something tells me that Kitt was the screenwriters super special self-insert character, and she's so insufferable because that writer envisions the show as a "me against the world" story with 0 self-awareness.

1. I reacted the same way when Kit plummeted into the evil goo. I legit yelled yes as if my favorite football team had just scored! Too bad they probably won’t kill her off.
2. Surprised you didn’t comment on how Elora’s hair suddenly has streaks of red. Guess the lemon juice from when she was 3 years old is finally washing out? 🤷🏻♀️
3. The Beach Boys music at the end actually made me LOL and for the first time in the series I felt like it was appropriately placed because Airk is clearly a man whore who gets jolly at every pretty face.

It's such a pity Kit is going to survive 😢
1. Evil goo isn't going to have any effect on her. She'll come out the same. But if anyone else had fallen in evil goo, it would have turned them evil.
2. That's from her doing magic in episode 4, and it gets bigger the more magic she does.
3. In Airk's defense, his fiance literally just murdered his sister (who he loves despite her winning personality) a few minutes before that. That's definitely grounds for breaking an engagement (even if Kit deserved it). I didn't like the music though, I don't like them assassinating every man's character.
In my non-woke fan edit, I moved the Airk scenes from episode 6 to episode 5, because I had to cut most of episode 5 and I needed to pad it out. And I kept the episode 5 music, but without the silence at the start. Then I used the Elora Danan theme for Episode 6 music.

1. I was just thrilled for a hot second that Kit was getting what she deserved. She’s insufferable. As a female, I’m exhausted of female leads having to be self centered, man hating assholes in order to be portrayed as “strong.” If she was kind and conscientious she would be more likable. But woke Hollywood seems to think this is the only way to have a female character arc these days, like ROP did with Galadriel.
2. I understood the concept that Elora’s hair was starting to change due to her becoming more in tune with her magical abilities. I’m just surprised that Disparu didn’t mention it, nor did any of the other characters in the show…
3. I never liked the modern music edits up until this point. I felt The Beach Boys song was appropriately placed this time because it legit made me lol with the look on Airk’s face in that scene. He obviously doesn’t know that Kit almost died, and I don’t believe Elora did that on purpose. BUT it was made clear in ep 1 that Airk has a short attention span when it comes to women, and his googlie eyes toward this pretty female stranger at the end of the episode just affirms that fact.

I do generally wonder if all good writers have just abandoned Hollywood or America in general or my favourite theory is that all the good writers want nothing to do with the overbearing studios literally stomping out creativity. I don't blame them one bit. If I wrote anything close to Willow I would slowly lower myself into a fire and see it as a worthy sacrifice for the future of Fantasy. It seems like there are only two possible paths to enjoy Fantasy at this point. No 1 Buy a book (Generally the older the better but I know a few newer good ones out there) or No 2 Develop a taste for overseas stuff (anime/manga/light novel) from Japan etc.
I don't know where to begin with this episode. Like the problem with a bad foundation is that everything snowballs from bad to holy mother make this suffering end. It starts to make the start of the show look like a golden light of good writing but in this case it's more like a very dim light from a candle that died out 2 minutes ago apart from the slight tinge of fire from the candle wick can be seen if you squinted ever so slightly. The only positive is the sheer hope that Kit actually drowns but my guess is some BS spirit or supernatural force will save her. Also I can see the twist of the young girl being the crone. As xD Crone implies older woman BUT HAHAHA twist it's a young woman ALL ALONG and the brother will fall in love with her and it will create a tension when the party of heroes arrive... I actually hate these writers for even trying to be clever as I feel my own IQ having to dip to their standards.
I believe the entire industry is run rampant by nepotism. The writers, the producer, directors, actors all know somebody or are related to somebody or recommend their own clueless friends. The entire company I work for operates this way and it's destroying them.
The good writers were fired and replaced with purple haired apple dumplings fresh out of college.
See, the "good" part means they can negotiate higher salaries. So in the name of pure greed more than anything else, they were replaced with talentless hacks that couldn't find better work anywhere else.
And since this is current year California, these rejects didn't come from just any college, but the worst of the country's brainwashing academies.
An entire generational change in writers was forced to save money, and without the older peers from previous generations as a balancing force, their worst tendencies have been left to run rampant.

Disparu almost died during the filming of this review which just goes to show that what you don't know can in fact hurt you really really badly. I'm of course referring to the show not knowing its own story, plot, motivations, arcs, developments, or the writing of anything really. Wow, what a show. Happy New Year!

So as a recap, the son drank from a pool of evil so he's going to be corrupted and became evil. Kitt fell into a lake of pure evil so she's.... going to remain the same, because let's face it she's always pure evil. Kitt learned that her OWN parents prefer someone else over her, and honestly I can't blame them.

Kit is the most contemptible character I’ve seen since MCU She Hulk, and before that both Batwomen.
I literally want to reach my hand through the screen and slap her repeatedly. Then punch her in the jaw. She's just...absolutely disgusting. I don't understand her brain nor do I want to. I get abandonment issues via her dad but GOOD GOD this is a psychopathic twisted mindset she's got. The mental gymnastics she's doing to bully and emotionally abuse Allora is unbelievable.
It's now clear that the rumours of nobody leaving the Wild Wood are from the tree scum boiling people's skulls and the trolls kidnapping anyone the tree scum missed. But they still should have added a line of dialogue acknowledging that.
I So miss INTO THE BADLANDS with shows like this "Circlets of Weakness:Bands Impotency", "Wheels of Part-time" and "Hemoglobin Origin"!

So my best friend and I saw Willow in the theater when we were 10. My Mom just dropped us off in the afternoon and came back later to pick us up. The good old days. I love the movie. I even own the trilogy novels that were made. Which are not good. I watched the first 3 episodes of this and then tapped out. Too bad, I had high hopes.

So God Bless you, Disparu, for suffering through these moving images slapped on vomit and trying to pass as a series. Without CZcamsrs like you, we may never pay attention long enough to figure out what the hell we just watched.

Actually, the best thing about the episode was the song at the end - although what it was doing there, I really don't know! But I'd listen to the Beach Boys any day of the week. These writers are from the mirror universe where heroes are portrayed as villains and all villains are sympathetic.

Sometimes I wonder if these writers hate women and choose only worse stereotypes to have as characters. I was to the writers wanted to lift up women, but they write female characters in such a way that is worse than simple damsels in distress.

Just right for my new year program, did not disappoint mate.
Disparu you do realize that the disappearing pig trick was more of sleight of hand than actual Magic. Remember in the movie Willow just simply made the pig disappear by putting it under the table. And remove the cloth he made the baby disappear by putting it behind a rock and wrapping up bundles of cloth. And then towards the end of the movie he revealed that the baby was hit behind a rock.
What he did wasn't actually magic it was more of sleight of hand. So when Willow in the show does like light beams. And stuff that's actual Magic but what he did in the movie was just sleight of hand and minor tricks. That anybody could do with a little bit of practice.
A good point, and Disparu should be rightly ashamed of himself, but if wands are required to do magic and Willow was pretending to do magic, wouldn’t he have a pretend wand. This assumes that most people know that wands are required when conjuring.
@@GaudiaCertaminisGaming well according to the movie we seen people who can perform magic need. A few things a spellbook with a list of spells and possibly ingredients for potions to do alchemy. A wand or a staff to help channel and focus the power. Because in the movie it was explained that magic is the lifeblood of the universe. And for one to tap into it is pretty dang powerful.
I mean the evil queen didn't need a one well you could just chop that up to evil magic. Able to bypass conventional Magic and requirements. All you need is the words and incantations in order to do the spell. I would like to think of it as Harry Potter rules where you get to a certain level.
Where you can perform magic without incantations and Magic is based on emotions. So when Harry blew up his aunt it was a complete accident. He didn't exactly know the incantation itself to blow up his aunt it was just magic.
He said shut up but I would like to think that the words came out blow up.
You miss the point he is making.
If you need a wand or staff to do magic then in the movie the trick would be known false and it would not have worked to drive the sorceress to kill herself.

In the movie, Willow was hoping to become High Aldwin's apprentice and be taught real magic. Aldwin does the Finger Test on Willow, which this show specifically refferences back to, which point was to say that the magic was in him. There's also lines between Bahmorda and Fin Raziel that the wand only amplifies their power. Fin Raziel teaches Willow magic, even giving him a spellbook, with Willow at the very end repeating High Aldwin's own magic back to him... without a staff or wand. There's no reason for Willow to not to be able to do magic without a prop.

All of them are just generic fantasy fanfiction. I'm hoping we'll at least see more of the Aes Sedai in the next season, or maybe find out who Halbrand is
