Thank you Catface.
Totally awesome. Everyone watching this video should read Mark's autobiography "Things The Grandchildren Should Know." One of the best books I have ever read, and definitely in my top five autobios of all-time.
I did. One of my all time favorite books. It's interesting to hear E's thoughts on life.
I only discovered EELS 2 days go - getting Mark's book from library later today. So talented. I'm looking forward to discovering all the fab music
Agreed. Simply an amazing book, and you learn so much about who E really is. I loved it so much. I won't be surprised if I read it again.
Amazing personality, regarding what he went through.
I did. My english got better with this book!
Gotta be one of the best versions of "My Beloved Monster" I've heard. Beautiful.
LOVE Eels! It blows my my mind that E"s father was the physicist who postulated multiple dimensions. Genius can be genetic..
I think it's more a social thing.
*multiple universes
Mark did a 4 part series about his family it was mind blowing. His pop hung out with Einstein and debate topics . I would highly recommend watching this .
love his voice. So peculiar and deep
One of my first musical and inspirational loves in 20 years...still love them and have great esteem for mr. Everett....a poet tpo me. A man who suffered and rose again to tell us of his life and how he went on......long live Mr E and EELS
Still have my guitar that E signed when I saw the Eels play in the late 90s!
Total perfection. Beautiful lyrics, and the gentle melodies make it all hypnotic. True music.
For someone who just recently discovered KEXP live concerts, i missed a lot. Very good sounding gems here. Thanks a lot
Actually This performance of 'Mistakes of My Youth' make me totally relaxed then its own official release. Big Thanks to KEXP ! Stunning record
This group is Fantastic 👍👍👍👍
I've always loved Shootenanny! so it was nice to hear Saturday Morning.
The new song, Where I'm From, sounds fantastic.
Shout out to host Morgan - she's very charming, handles herself really well in the interview situations, she has a nice rapport with the guests; keep up the good work, Morgan.
Outstanding 👍 your amazing Mark Everett
Holy crikeys these guys are fantastic.
Great! Yay for #Eels. Glad I had a chance to see the NYC: Live at Town Hall show. I look forward to another one someday if luck prevails.
Thank you KEXP.
Soooooo good!!!! i found the eels 7 years ago. Now i have two kids;-) just two crazy Talibans. but on satureday we sit together Listing eels, chrashtestdummies, war of drugs etc...and Play Games ...so freaky. Now i am dad. Not a pot smokin dude.
They are so great. Mark is so talented...
Love this version of "Mistakes"; this song seems to come around when I need it, and I have shared it with many people, hoping it helps them too.
my beloved monster, what a great song
***** indeed
This Guild guitar is my dream !!!
Eels are my new favorite group! Definitely moving lyrics
holly skinner i

Love them....
Sublime, always.
Saturday morning
Who's gonna play with me?
Six in the morning, baby
I got a long, long day ahead of me
The parents are sleeping soundly
The neighbors are dead as wood
I'm getting up and coming over
We gotta rock the neighborhood
Nothing's ever gonna happen 'round here
If we don't make it happen
Sleep away the day if you want to
But I got something that I gonna do
It's Saturday morning
And this ain't the place for me
I'm giving you warning, baby
We got a whole big, fat world to see
Nothing's ever gonna happen 'round here
If we don't make it happen
Sleep away the day if you want to
But I got something that I gonna do
It's Saturday morning
And who's gonna play with me?
Six in the morning, baby
I got a long, long day ahead of me
Saturday morning
Saturday morning
I am so bummed I missed Chelsea Wolfe/Eels when they came to town. Two of my favorites.
Simplemente Hermoso!!!
Really awesome
me encantó!
he's awesome
just pure no frills music , brilliant
Ah here it is
Estes senhores aveludam os meus ouvidos!
full performance means four songs which is deep enough considering the circumstances
very good music, do these nice people!
Saturday Morning Baby ...
Sorry, but this is kind of like a guitargasm!! I'm completely satisfied.
yes I can hear it! Mr E 3000!!
My goodness, that's why I'm here too! Wow after that last song it's really undeniable...
they are about to go on tour again, hope KEXP has them back.
Been a fan of Eels for around 15 years now and had the privilege of seeing them in the flesh for the first time at the O2 Academy in Glasgow last year, it was one of the best gigs I've ever been to....
Haste ye back E 🏴
Gary McGunnigle I’ve seen them 3 times, twice in Manchester and once in Leeds. Can’t wait for them to come back to the UK.
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELLS ... why does this have so few views its a real shame
***** but but but eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeels
***** That, plus Mark being one of the most underrated musicians on earth.
***** In my experience, about 90% of people think the Eels are "that one hit wonder band" for Novocaine. And about 100% have never heard of Mark Oliver Everrett. Then again, I know he's done some songs for children's movies that I've missed. Maybe that's what you're referring to.
baphomick that's just statistically unlikely
***** I'm 105% the best at mathing.
Mr E? Is that you? 😂😂😂😂😂😂 can you please do a transvestigation on the studio announcer now?
where i'm from

F(eels)
Steve Perry is badassed.
someone name the guitars for me cheers?
+Dr. H The older guy is The Chet, younger one is Knuckle or P Boo, i dont really remember.
They all are on Eels
I mean the type of guitars they are playing, sorry
+Dr. H the one on the left is a Martin, perhaps OM, not sure which model. The other one is a Guild, maybe a custom one, have never seen it before..
Martin OM and Guild with jumbo body. Exat models hard to know.
Please let this be true
kexp, paste, npr have become a few of the last places to find good music and 'like a version'
JJJ here in Oz has great like a versions as well
Why kind of sunglasses are those?
He got a laser pointed in his eye. Has to wear glasses ever since
B
tu peux ne pas aimer mais tu ne peux pas dire que ce n est pas de grands musiciens et de grands artistes
I hope your reading this Steve, get u'r ass back onstage don't be so selfish!
Susan's house ✌️
why he isn't play any instrument???
Kirill Neridov He definitely does in concert. I think they were just keeping it simple for this. One of the most fun aspects of The Eels is how they all rotate through different instruments.
Concert was great until the awkward exchange between the host and the band. Stick to the music and not pop culture.
Presenter was crap did not click at all with them...lucky their odd ball music that is so real and true to most still is embedded on us forever to listen, learn make our own mistakes and be there forever....
She's not as kind as Cheryl.
