You’re welcome. When I was in Boston this past summer I shot this location. I was visiting Boston to do the filming locations for “The Town“ and got a tons of locations they used for that one. I also wanted to also do the filming locations for “Good Will Hunting“ while I was in Boston, but when I started researching the locations, much to my surprise many of the locations used in “ Good Will Hunting” were actually filmed in Toronto. There were several locations used in the Boston area including this one, but normally when I set out to do filming locations for a movie, I want to find nearly all of them. When they are split up in different cities like this, it obviously makes it more challenging, and a visit to Toronto wasn’t in the mix. Maybe one day in the future though.
You are correct. They have a lot of different lenses to work with to get the exact angles and shots they want. Sometimes when I am looking for locations that can make it a little tricky if I’m trying to match up a location with what appears in the background. But more often than not I can narrow it down to a specific spot.
Just saw it’s almost 12 am here in Canada and this made my night man thanks

I need to watch that movie again. It's been a long time.
100% you’ll feel good when ya watch it
Good Will Hunting is still one of my favorite movies. I still remember where I first saw it in theaters. Great movie!
Their cameras seem to always bring the background in closer to the foreground. Many films do this I noticed.

Cool
Hey, is that the same park that they used for filming 'Ted'? They look similar.
It's the same bench
Too bad Robin Williams isn't around anymore
I agree…
