Come See With Me!

Registrace 11. 02. 2007
Welcome to my channel, Come See With Me! My channel primarily features select movie filming locations I've found and various college football stadiums I've visited. I also mix in other things from time to time, but my channel "Come See With Me" is mainly centered around those topics. I have a passion for searching for filming locations and for college athletics. For years I have been interested in where movies were filmed, so I started searching for these locations to share with others who may not be able to see them themselves. I'm also on a quest to see every FBS college football stadium. I have been to 133 out of the 134 FBS stadiums and many of them are featured on Come See With Me (as well as other schools). And I don't only visit the stadiums, I also enjoy visiting the campuses and towns/cities that the universities reside in. The main purpose of this channel is simply to share my journeys with others who have similar interests in these topics as well. So...Come See With Me!
Cloverleaf High School & Middle School (Lodi, OH)
This is a final look at both the Cloverleaf High School & the Cloverleaf Middle School (formerly the Cloverleaf Junior High) buildings in Lodi, Ohio. Unfortunately, both buildings are slated for demolition this summer. This video shows a number of clips of both buildings from the public walkthrough that was offered before both buildings were demolished.

I drive in upper Sandusky and right past the ohio st reformitory every day its so odd to see the prison because it's so close to oh st 30 but in the movie it seams like its set way back by itself
I agree and know what you mean. It does seem like it’s way out in the middle of nowhere the way it’s depicted in the movie. I actually kind of wish it was like that in reality.
Thanks for your work and this video, I just saw this movie tonight and I can’t believe where they were filming this movie is just 10 minutes drive from where I work. I will try to visit and explore
You’re welcome, and yes, you should go and check some of these places out for yourself.
Amazing attention to detail, brilliant job 👏🏼👏🏼 great documentation
Thank you very much!
Gregory Gym, like many other old basketball arenas, has been repurposed for volleyball. However, the UT athletic department would like to build a new volleyball arena as they have to rent Gregory form the Division of Recreational Sports. This would now be the old old basketball arena as the Frank Erwin Center has been demolished to make room for a medical center. The new basketball arena is Moody Center, so the proposed volleyball arena has been dubbed a "mini-Moody."
It was built for livestock shows and rodeos and still hosts them. When the Tigers played basketball here, the court was on a platform high above the dirt, and seating was built next to the court.
Before the Braves were in Atlanta, they were in Milwaukee at County Stadium (next to American Family Field) and in Boston at Braves Field (now Nickerson Field at Boston U).
Built on the site of Ownby Stadium. Between starting at and returning to this site, the Mustangs played at the Cotton Bowl and Texas Stadium. Ownby was also home of the NASL's Dallas Tornado for a few years.
TDECU Stadium was built on the site of Robertson Stadium, formerly Jeppesen Stadium and Public School Stadium, first home of the Houston Oilers. TDECU originally stood for Texas Dow Employees Credit Union. It issues credit cards for and has ATMs inside Buc-ee's. In between starting at and returning to this site, the Cougars played at Rice Stadium and the Astrodome.
The Steelers played at Pitt Stadium before Three Rivers. Pitt played once at Three Rivers, a night game on ABC against Penn State since Pitt Stadium didn't have lights at the time.
Best film location DOC I have seen excellent job love the fact you do then and now pictures and videos
Thank you!
I think that is a different pine tree. The original likely removed when they renovated Franklin Hall.
I got to visit the Hoosier Gym last week. One of the coolest places I've ever been
I agree, it’s so cool for a number of reasons. I love that place!
I simply loved this video, as much as the movie itself... by revisiting the actual locations could feel the same. The movie is a lifetime experience.. the chemistry between Red and Andy is of a very different level.. background score each time Red narrates about Andy not to be ignored!
Thank you!
Didn't notice until years after I watched this movie that I actually live next door to the laundromat/ Bank when I was in college.
I liked that location and area. I could see why they picked that spot for filming. I had been to Boston a few times before I did these locations, but doing these locations for The Town really took me around to a number of other places I hadn’t seen before. It gave me a good taste of the city that I probably wouldn’t have otherwise seen.
@@ComeSeeWithMehey man I love this video along with the movie itself I plan on taking a Boston trip to check out the filming locations but I wonder if it’s been changed more since you’d upload the video love the video
The locations I show should pretty much look similar to when I filmed them. The one location that was undergoing a change when I was there was that one bridge. I filmed these locations just a few years ago and to the best of my knowledge, they are still the same. I’m actually going to be in Boston next week and will likely be passing by some of them. If I notice anything that’s changed, I’ll let you know.
I just visited the Forbes Field wall a couple of weeks ago. So very cool. Touching the wall was like touching history. I was born three days after Maz’s World Series home run. I am commenting here the day after Willie Mays passed away….I am sure he knew the Forbes outfield very well.
Great job. I just found myself here in 2024 reminiscing about those good old days. Your video hit the spot. Thank you.
Thank you!
Love Funny Farm...one of my favourite movies...Wish i had met a girl like Elizabeth to move to the country when i was young...
I would LOVE to have a place like this to live in/at. I literally told the owners that they are living on a little piece of heaven. They both just smiled as if I was telling them something they already knew.
Grandes recuerdos. Ahí se inauguró el mundial del 94
There are now more commercials and breaks than all the major networks combined. Way to go utube!
Do they hire locals to do some of the work?
❤
👍
I was at a UFC even about 7 years ago and Sean was 2 rows back from us w a couple of his buddies...when the event was over I seen him standing there and me and a couple friends started chanting " RUDY RUDY RUDY".....he wasn't to impressed but his buddies loved it and wanted us to keep it going but out of respect we stopped and Sean still wouldnt stop shaking his head...lol
Ha! I can imagine that kind of thing happens to him from time to time. It’s funny that his friends found it funny. I always enjoy hearing these kind of things, thanks for sharing that.
Great job! Thank you for the hard work and diligence you put into this work- Thank you
You’re welcome, and thank you!
Well done!
Thank you!

I'm fifty four now and for the past thirty years my pastoral cycles into the hills around Glasgow can be summed up in that final walk to Buxton and the treasure beneath that old oak tree.
Great video, obviously loads of effort you've put into this. Thanks.
Thanks very much!
I attended the last game in Turner Field back in 2016 and I really thought that was the oldest stadium of the Braves, I’m just founding out about the Fulton County stadium 😯
You have done an outstanding job on this video. I have seen several and this is by far one of the absolute best. We have visited all these locations about 3 times now. Allot has changed over the years. I had a few friends wind up spending time in there for some minor unviolent crimes, but they wrapped up several of these minor crimes and the judges determined they needed a lesson and sent them there for a year each. One friend did only 3 months and the other did 6 months. It did reform them for sure. Another family member and I took a short trip up there just after Shawshank was filmed and released. The place was in shambles and allot of vandalizm had gone on. The staff was preparing for an anniversary show of the filiming and trying to raise money for the restoration. Much of the back buildings seen in the movie have been torn down and replaced with a more modern prison. You can no longer see or visit the cemetary also seen in the movie, but years ago before the new sheriff station and new prison was built, we walked those tracks that runs between the prison and the cemetary and explored it a few times. I live about 45 minutes from this prison and am glad to see it has been saved. This prison is over 100 years old and allot of history here. Construction began in 1886 and continued until 1910. It did actually open in 1896. The big Oak tree was struck by lightning several years later and pretty much destroyed. A huge part of it was transported to the entrance of Mansfield prison for display along the driveway into the prison. This prison is about 45 minutes from my house. We were told the day it was scheduled to be torn down completely, they received a call from Hollywood about filming Shawshank Redemption. That saved this prison as the destruction crew were on their way. I have been there a few more times since the renovations have been started and done. It is definitely an amazing place to visit and well worth it!!
Thank you very much and thanks for sharing that information.

Did you find anything from Exposition Field where the Pirates played prior to Forbes Field?....late 1800s and very early 1900s...on the Northside.
This location documentary has certainly been made with a lot of love, passion and care. Amazing you got to visit the oak tree when it was still there. I agree the scenic location for the scene just before the Oak tree is very beautiful.
Thank you!
You deserve alot nore subs, every video you give us a cinematic walkthrough aswell as other angles you deserve alot more recognition. Usually, people film themselves, and its annoying but very different viewing with your channel...
Thank you very much! I appreciate it! Yes, I don’t appear in my videos. I know people are coming to view the material and not to look at me standing in front of it.
Great content great channel
Thank you!
I remember somewhere that uncle rico actually reallydidnt eat steak so in every take he wipes his mouth with a paper towel to spit out the meat 👍
Yes, I saw that mentioned in a special feature too.
In the 1980s I played for a school in northern Michigan. It doesn't get the same basketball reputation as Indiana but with school consolidation in Indiana, the days of schools like Knightstown are long gone. Not so in Michigan, where almost a hundred schools with high school enrollments in the double digits, most public, still exist. And, as late as 1980 I played against schools with facilities like the Hickory gym, with two ten second lines and separate in bound lines since the court went all the way to within a few inches of the legs of front row spectators. After a few years you figured out where all the dead spots were on the floor, spots the home team tried to make you dribble to in order to get an easy steal. That school and awful gym existed into the 21st century, and there are still schools like Hickory in northern Michigan.
Thanks for sharing that info.
@@ComeSeeWithMe lots of these schools really can’t consolidate, kids would spend two hours each day getting to and from school. There is a lot of pure emptiness up there with some people having their nearest “neighbors” five miles away. That’s not farm country, there’s not a lot of agriculture up there. Every year in the Division 4 (enrollment around 200 or less, about 180 schools) tournament there’s at least one school with an enrollment of around 50 making a deep run in the tournament. And if you lose to a bad team up there or make a big mistake on Friday night you still can’t show your face around town for a week!
There was no sign outside of Napolean's house yesterday.
Hopefully they are still welcoming to visitors. They were when I was there
Dude, you went way above and beyond with this! Amazing work.
Thank you! I appreciate it!
the lil bush at Pedros is now a full blown tree

Great stuff man! Class of 2014
Thank you!
Is that where Breakfast Club was filmed?
No it is not. The Breakfast Club was filmed in Illinois.
👍🏻🇬🇧
A 2 part door is called a Dutch door where we are.
Yes, thank you. That’s exactly what I couldn’t think of when I was filming that. I appreciate it.
Interesting locker arrangement.
I agree. Pretty unique and certainly something I will always remember about the school.
❤
The amount of detail included in this is very impressive. Well done.
Thank you very much!
Could you imagine a movie coming out that was all white people today? People would be going insane in offense
I drove past Ladd Stadium hundreds of times when i lived in Mobile, it’s literally in the middle of the hood.
Can you do filming locations of both hereditary and midsommar?
I wish someone from the movie joined you as a narrator talking about filiming and sharing memories, maybe Mrs.Jennifer Grey herself, that would be magical. Imagine that. Anyway, thank you for a wonderful tour through memory lane, the last few minutes of the video I cried like a baby, it felt like losing something or someone, this kind of transcendent effect this movie had. As a side note, I feel like the location looked better back in 1987, the changes they've made has taken away a little part of its organic magic from this in my view.
Wow, I wish she would have joined me too, that would have been amazing! Ha ha. And thank you, glad you enjoyed seeing it.
