The average inseam for a 5' woman is 30". Did you measure incorrectly? How do you find pants to wear? It's so out of proportion! Petite pants are usually 28" so you would need all pants hemmed up at least SEVEN inches! This can't be accurate. When measuring inseam, the tape measure must be touching right up at your crotch, with no gap. You really can't measure it yourself. You need someone else to do it beczuse you have to bend over if you do it yourself which would mese up the measurement.
One of my cousins has a 33" inseam, but she's also 6' tall. She has a longer torso, too, so she has to adapt her clothing. I remember her sewing her own swim suit because she wanted a one piece that fit her properly. I'm 5' 3" on a good day and my inseam is a 29".
My exwife is 6'3" and built similarly to you and like you had never had a pair of pants or jeans that weren't high waters. The best she had ever found was 32w X 36L. Her inseam was 38 to 39. Our first x-mas in 2001 I found and ordered her 5 pair of jeans from JCPenny at 32W X 38L. 2 blue, 1 red, 1 grey and 1 black. I'm 5'10" and did not mind the difference, but it was hilarious to see her and my 4'10" mom out and about. We were best known for our Sonny and Cher costume at Halloween.
How do you find pants? There's no way your inseam is that short! I just looked it up and the average inseam for a woman between 5' and 5"4' is 30 inches. Your legs are FIVE INCHES shorter than average? You must have an incredibly long upper body. You would be noticeably disproportionate if your legs were that short at 5'3". Did you measure it yourself? With womens clothes, they usually only show waist size on the pants, so if you're going by pants that say 25", that is your waist, not inseam. A 25" inseam is unheard of for an adult 5'3" woman. Every single pair of pants you buy would cover your feet and drag on the ground unless you have them hemmed or do it yourself, which isn't easy. There are no womens pants that have a 25" inseam. Even petite is no shorter than 28."

Some people just have long torsos. My dad is 5'9" and has a 29" inseam. Same as me and I'm 5'3"! His doctor told him once he has the legs of a 5'5" man and the torso of a 6'1" man.
I love watching your shorts so much because it’s always been hard for me to find clothes that fit. I’m 5’11 with a 6’1” wingspan and 35” inseam. I’m very thin too and it’s always been hard for me to gain weight (currently working on figuring out why) so you are a true blessing to see❤️ Also, Buckle’s house brand “BKE” has jeans that’s are up to 37” inseam, super stretchy (I’ve fallen asleep in them), great quality, and have itty bitty size waists down to a 23” or 24” I swear by them. Only place I shop for jeans now. You can also order longer MissMe’s, RockRevival, and many more through Buckle. And they have great customer service.
You need to stand straight with your back against the wall for an accurate inseam. Measure from your groin to that little bulb that sticks out on your ankle. Leaning down the way you do will shorten your inseam quite a bit and provide an inaccurate measurement.
You did it right the last time, as most pants "break" at the top of flat dress shoes. Keep buyin them 38s if you want them to look cute over your heels.

The typical tall women's clothing is cut to between a 30 and 32 in inseam, there are some retailers that will stock up to 34 in but rarely do they do 34" in anything that's not intended to be worn with heels. It's very frustrating... But since I've not heard you talk about needing your clothes to be custom-made or tailored from an unhemmed jean or something like that, this does sound about right.

Im a fellow tall human (6'10" male) you did it right. Its really about where you want the pants to end. A 33in would end the leg right where it would meet a sneaker, a bit longer might be your preference too. I personally wear a 38wx40l meaning my waist is 38 inches around and my inseam is 40 inches. American tall is one of the few places i find pants these day and i believe their womens selection goes to like 6'4" ish

It’s easier to measure your favorite length pants after you take them off. I’m 5”7 and usually wear a 33-36” inseam, but I’m short-waisted 😂 (my inseam is long my dress size is short)
It will be longer if someone else measures. Believe it or not, you are actually measuring at an angle and lose some distance with the pivot of the hip if you bend over and do it yourself. I am 5'10" with a 30" inseam.
It actually depends on where you want your clothes to end. For example if you want it ankle length stop at the ankle if you want floor leng5h go to the floor ect.
Average female inseam in stores for women's full length pants is 28"-30", so 33" is indeed a very long inseam.

I’m an average 5’6 woman with a 32” inseam, as far as I’ve seen almost every pair of women’s pants are 32”. But you can get them in shorter or longer.

That's not your inseam though. You have to measure the inside of your leg, and only to the top of your foot.
Inseam is a comfort measurement, and will depend on where you want your garment to finish. Yours is likely 33 to 35. LONG!
