I LOVE HOW AMAZING JOEY ACTS OUT PETER. just compare this macy version with the zoe version. the way he looks at the girl and everything, how happy both of them look. this film is honestly amazing, they're all so amazing, and I'M DYING why are they doing this to me? the differences of both versions are ✊😔 the meaning of it is just- why am i ranting again?

I want to hate this version of this song because of Zoe but I can't...Part of me was hoping Macy and Peter would sound like Moaning Myrtle and a Mandrake's cry. it's not the same as the other version but they're both good for different reasons. I still hate Peter. He should go make out with a Dementor T.T

I would love to see a movie that plays on Macy's POV. I mean, maybe she never knew this was the song he made with his ex. How would Macy react to that? I mean, she doesn't seem like a great person but surely that'd leave a sour taste in her mouth?

I'm not sure, I got the impression that they did vlogs and that Zoe's performance with Peter was up on CZcams. In that case, Macy would have seen it (and figured out to perform it as Peter is stated as not knowing how to play guitar) and could use it as an up-yours slap in the face to the ex. (After all, the new boyfriend couldn't possibly be the bad guy in the failed relationship, right?)

I like this version less,
it comes across as more forced, and less innocent and real,
I think it's also a douche-move to use the song that you wrote with your ex and sing it with your new girlfriend,
and to me, it seems like Macy is just trying to use this as an attack to Zoe,

I think it seems to fit, really. A sort of, 'I'm going to make this sound sickly sweet' with a poisonous undertone if you know what's going on in Macy's performance. A very Slytherin sort of thing to do, wouldn't you say?
And yeah, a very d-bag move to reuse a song you created with your ex with your new girlfriend. It conveys 'd-bag' without having to say much more and honestly, it gives me the impression that Peter is using his partner's musical skills and that without it, he'd be a little stuck. It kind of feels like he struck gold with Honeydukes, but is a one-trick pony.

This scene makes me mad for a few reasons. 1.The girl is supposed to be the Ginny Wesley of the song yet she is wearing a Slytherin tie!
2. Even though I love Joey this scene makes me want to slap him in the back of the head.
