I've been following this restoration since Part #1 and realized that this R33 GT-R has lots of rust + corrosion. However, glad that the mechanic has replaced/is replacing those rusted/corroded parts with either new or self-fabricated parts with lots of precision and tender loving care. Gave you a LIKE.
I'm amazed that you can pull a car body apart this far, and have it go back together so well without having it on a chassis jig! And I wish the belts on my power file lasted as well as yours.
I sure would love to pay for my nephews 33 to be fully stripped and painted by you guys, it would do the car justice as it would be coming back to it's original home.
Thumbs up for the great work you are doing! .I find it very strange that the car has SO much rust and i find it very strange that i didn't see any seam sealer from the factory to many of the overlapping panels... why is that so? Is it common to a lot of Japanese cars?
Perhaps they wanted to avoid touching the strut tower? I'd think that replacing that panel in its entirety would need the rear subframe back and/or a jig.

👏👏👏👏
Good bye rusted parts kkkk
💎👌👌
Unbelievable the rust under the spotwelds… so every gtr is rusting! Sad.. even TJ Hunt’s GTR than too..
14:51 Why didn't he just change the whole piece, having this piece new, instead of welding patches everywhere, doesn't make any sense!
I was thinking the same thing. This is the only time I’ve ever questioned their method

it would be impossible to do right without supporting basically everything attached to it, not worth the hassle for no benefit
