    I really need to do this with my Mustang Mach 1! It’s drums all the way around 😅

      Definitely! It sucks because it changes your wheel fitment and you have to figure that out (thats where I'm at now) but in the long run its sooo worth it!! ✌🏽

    My cousin has a 64 Falcon.
    Question: Will 14" Cragar SS rims fit on the disc conversion or does he have to get 15"Cragar SS rims?

    Do you know what kinda of rear axle shafts you used for 5 lug ?

    My question is I have a 1963 falcon and my have 4 lugs and you have 1964 Ford falcon and your have 5 lugs my questions is does your came from factory like that or you make a change to your falcon

    • @ReelTake
      @ReelTake  Před 3 lety +1

      Mine came from the factory like that. Most of the ‘63’s are 4 lug ( I believe) but you would just have to do one more step, before the disc brake conversion, which just a 4 to 5 lug conversion. Hope this helps you a bit 😁✌🏽

    Can you tell me the trouble you had with the front disc conversion. Summits saying I need a Mustang II independent suspension...??? Also do I need to go from a 4 to a 5 lug in the front. Just now literally bought a 64 Falcon sedan...

      Hey John, I'm so sorry for the delayed response! I would say summit is correct in your case. If you have the 4 lug spindle you will have to get the 5 lug one (which can be easily found for a mustang independent suspension set up. Fortunately, our Falcon already had the 5 lug set up so it was plug and play. As far as the trouble I had for the front was because of a leak. For a while I was not getting any brake fluid to the front calipers but once gone through every brake line we discovered a leak and then it worked great! Hope this helps you a bit! 😁✌🏽

    Will be doing the same for mine. I’m in Houston also...how have they been performing after the install?

    • @ReelTake
      @ReelTake  Před 3 lety +1

      That’s awesome! You won’t be disappointed IMO. Very grippy, and super easy to work on/install. I haven’t had any problems since the install but to be fair I haven’t driven it a ton either. Maybe a total of 20miles since install. That’s awesome you’re in Houston as well! Hit me up if you have any questions along the way and I can try my best giving the knowledge I have! Haha thanks for watching as well!!🙏🏽😁✌🏽

    Can you tell me where you bought those rotors from and what's the model number the ones I got from Summit way too deep

    • @ReelTake
      @ReelTake  Před 3 lety +1

      I bought them off of summit racing’s website. They are a brand called right stuff detailing rear disc brake conversion. The kit number is ZDCRD02. I’m sure this stuff is subject to change so just make sure nothing has changed on those numbers. Also, I believe I mentioned in the video (it’s been a while) that the rotors were suppose to be solid/vented rotors, not drilled and slotted. I’m unaware how that happened but just thought I’d make you aware if you’re looking for specifically the drilled and slotted rotors. Hope this helps😁✌🏽

    Your camera coverage needs a whole bunch of improvement.

      Appreciate the feedback Bob. It’s always hard to work on cars and film 😆
