Great memories of playing this many times at the local bowling alley as a boy. I used to pop it repeatedly and give free games to my friends, and i still remember that song perfectly as i have heard it many times.
You've got the power! *HA HA HA HA HA HA!* You've got the might! *NO WAY!* Get ready for battle! *GIVE ME YOUR MONEY!* Beat the Black Knight! *HA HA HA HA HA HA!* hits me right in the nostalgia every time I hear it. I was very lucky that my arcade was still exist and had this game completely unharmed.
@Nikkcade I looked at it a bit, looks pretty nice imo. Maybe just nostalgia tho? In any case I am not in a financial position to aquire another machine in the near future.
he did Shao Kahns voice right? it sounds like him. the instrumental part of it sounds like it was composed by whoever did total carnage' soundtrack lol
wowowowow I didn't expect you to actually see this. I gotta say of all the games I've played to date, from when I first got my genesis all the way to now, The Crue Ball soundtrack remains one of my favorites. I can hum all of the songs by heart. No real questions to ask you or anything, just wanted to say you're awesome.
The music to this pinball machine is truly amazing! I can listen to it over and over. Cannot wait to purchase my own BK2000! I may even hook the sound up to my Bose surround sound system and bring down the house!
Ryan Penrod, it stopped working and we have been meaning to fix it for awhile now. I'm no electrician and the inside of that thing is a literal rat nest of wires and boards. The amazing things they accomplished with the technology they had back then is a sight to behold. :p
This has to be the most gloriously 80s thing I've ever heard, and this is coming from someone who played through both Double Dragon Neon and Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon, both properties whose primary themes are 'F'k yeah, the 80s!'
I was playing some pinball at Funspot in New Hampshire (yes, THAT Funspot!) and I heard this machine rocking out and I found myself drawn to it and pumping in token after token, just to hear that awesome music.
Finally had a chance to actually play this pinball machine in person, let me tell you, it is something else. Highly recommend anyone who has played a digital version of it to try out the real thing!
I have this on my Xbox one and I'm still playing it to this day my dad taught me how to play pinball and this is the first pinball game my dad introduced me to and I've been honing my skills ever since I'm trying to get into some local tournaments but can't find one and even if I lose in that tournament it's gonna push me harder and keep getting better at it like they always say practice makes perfect
I hear you, man. There's no real substitute for FM synth and tinny audio samples. We went full orchestral and yeah, everything SOUNDS better, but it feels like we lost something.
The game that turned me on to pinball. Hearing this as a 16 year old new to the game was an indescribable magic. And, oh yeah, it didn't hurt that I got RANSOM on my first game not having any clue wtf I was doing. Holy **** what a rush.
En México en Plaza Universidad allá por 1989 había muchisimos pinball en ese lugar. La fichera era una rubia de ojo azul extra chichona y si sumamos la maquina para 4 jugadores de las tortugas ninja pues era una locura. Harta nostalgia
I remember about 4 years ago, I was a serious pinballer and then I got into the love of tornado sirens and now my hobby is collecting animatronics, but still loving coming over to here these great pinball artists and their wonderful music
Hah. Hey. Glad to hear from you. I do love your music, abuse of FM Synth or no. :) Glad you're still around, too, though I hope you've got more to put on your resume than Zynga games...
Though I would kill if I could get my hands on a Crue Ball soundfont. I like messing with the genesis instruments in FL studio and I can't find the heavy guitar sound in any packs :\
Apart from this soundtrack being made by someone who also worked on a Sega Genesis game, the pinball system used a Yamaha sound chip from the same family (but not the exact model) that the Sega Genesis used. The voice/singing was made using a separate sound chip in the same system.
I have one at home, which i bought broken, and fixed it up. Maybe if you're bold you can go out to the arcade and ask if they're willing to sell it at a good price now that it's broken :) Plenty of help online on fixing them
I do. Geeks Mania in Madison, WI has a copy. Pretty good condition, the flippers are a little on the weak side but it's completely playable regardless.
Probably the only machine to make triple multiball feel like a threatening boss fight instead of just more points
Great memories of playing this many times at the local bowling alley as a boy. I used to pop it repeatedly and give free games to my friends, and i still remember that song perfectly as i have heard it many times.
4:11 CRUD THIS MUSIC IS CRAZY NUTS!!
You've got the power!
*HA HA HA HA HA HA!*
You've got the might!
*NO WAY!*
Get ready for battle!
*GIVE ME YOUR MONEY!*
Beat the Black Knight!
*HA HA HA HA HA HA!*
hits me right in the nostalgia every time I hear it. I was very lucky that my arcade was still exist and had this game completely unharmed.
GIVE ME YOUR MONEY.
+Cecil Palmer
No way XD
Weed_ Rulez_: He says it in the Main Theme and when you push start without putting money in, LOL.
Be the Black Knight!
The only pinball on which i just held the ball with a flipper just to listening the music. ^_^
The Getaway: High Speed II will make you do that too!
+Den Saku
Me too!
Den Saku Rollergames.
The medley is so damn 1980s it is not funny. Holy shit!
I wonder how many coils you burned out doing that :P
*pushes start button without coins*
"GIVE ME YOUR MONEY!!"
*screams and runs away*
Conversus Vans Separates the pros from the amateurs!
NO WAY!!!
hahahaha
My dad had this pinball machine in our basement since I was 2. I grew up loving this music.
So weird! My dad had this one in our basement too!
I CAN'T BELIEVE AFTER 30 YEARS THEY ARE COMING OUT WITH A 3RD BLACK KNIGHT PINBALL
Wait what?
Holy shit seriously?
@Nikkcade I looked at it a bit, looks pretty nice imo. Maybe just nostalgia tho? In any case I am not in a financial position to aquire another machine in the near future.
Black Knight Sword of Rage 😀 stern made it and its fun as hell
remixed main theme is a total banger as well !!!
The greatest pinball music I've heard yet.
No argument
Steve Ritchie did himself proud when he wrote it!!!
He rides again....All hail the Black Knight!!!
I played The Back Knight pinball.
Respect to Brian Schmidt!!!
best Audio quality of this Classic Pinball tune by far. it's almost like actually being in front of the actual machine with the volume way up.
Steve Richie the creator and the voice of the Black Knight also did Mortal Kombat 2 as a voice actor and he did MK Shaolin Monks
he did Shao Kahns voice right? it sounds like him. the instrumental part of it sounds like it was composed by whoever did total carnage' soundtrack lol
3:05 this is some Megadeth-level stuff! O_O
This here is a thing of beauty.
wowowowow
I didn't expect you to actually see this.

YOURE A MAD MAN
I still have this in my basement. Used to spend hours slaying on this table at night in high school. Need to get it touched up so I can play it again.
You have this but don't play it? How dare you
Ryan Penrod, it stopped working and we have been meaning to fix it for awhile now. I'm no electrician and the inside of that thing is a literal rat nest of wires and boards. The amazing things they accomplished with the technology they had back then is a sight to behold. :p

Takes me back to my arcade years
I started listening to this and I don’t think I’m gonna be able to stop
*HURRY UP*
"You can do it! You can do it!"
I was playing some pinball at Funspot in New Hampshire (yes, THAT Funspot!) and I heard this machine rocking out and I found myself drawn to it and pumping in token after token, just to hear that awesome music.

An amazing classic , thanks to all involved with making this!
played that thing yesterday in the pinball museum in schwerin, germany
P.S. the soundtrack is epic makes me wanna get on my Xbox one and play it now
OMG!!!! I remember playing this game when I was in high school. That sounds!!! 😄
"Give me your money!"
First heard it live in the Krakow Pinball Museum and I was simply blown away.
Love this! Great work on compiling this medley! :D
Fantastic!
I hear you, man. There's no real substitute for FM synth and tinny audio samples. We went full orchestral and yeah, everything SOUNDS better, but it feels like we lost something.
please god please be in the next smash bros game
Joseph Palozie That sounds awesome but why?
_Why not?_
Both this music and the Black Knight character himself as a DLC!
well we will see it very soon i guess :P
Joseph Palozie what the fuck are you talking about man
awesome soundtrack
I’d LOVE to see Frank Bello from the band, Anthrax, play this on bass. I can SO picture him doing it and rocking it at the same time! :D
Who else is here after the Black Knight Sword of Rage announcement?
I am, but I've also been here before.
* EVERYTHING IS LIT *
It is certainly used in my BK2K, during multiball.
what a vibe!
Lovely bass line...
The game that turned me on to pinball. Hearing this as a 16 year old new to the game was an indescribable magic.
And, oh yeah, it didn't hurt that I got RANSOM on my first game not having any clue wtf I was doing. Holy **** what a rush.
omg!! memories!!!
A Kill la Kill fan and a Black Knight 2000 fan. Truly a man after my own heart.
I AM THE BLACK KNIGHT!!
Bloody amazing work.
metal as fuk cover art
"I AM *THE* BLACK KNIGHT"
There is no other, nigga
Freaking great.
4:30 is such good listening
Well that was fuckign awesome.
2:50. Iron Maiden could use it as a solo, LOL
i thought the same :D
I always thought this game had more of a Queen sound. This is pretty close to Highlander/Flash Gordon territory.
Le MEILLEUR flipper de l'univers, aucun autre ne fait le poids
You are champion!
En México en Plaza Universidad allá por 1989 había muchisimos pinball en ese lugar. La fichera era una rubia de ojo azul extra chichona y si sumamos la maquina para 4 jugadores de las tortugas ninja pues era una locura. Harta nostalgia
Jon Favreau & Dave Filoni, I know you were here!
R A N S O M !
This is the official theme song of festivals and conventions with freeplay arcades.
GIVE YOUR MONEY HAHAHAHA
Black Knight for MKX Kombat Pack 2
this is something i never knew i needed until now
love this game!
Considering how fun this was, not making Sinistar into a pinball machine I feel was a wasted opportunity.
Alternate lyrics- ( She's got the power, she's got the might, get ready for battle, Meet the ex-wife!).
Black Knight 2000 for the Sega Genesis.
I remember about 4 years ago, I was a serious pinballer and then I got into the love of tornado sirens and now my hobby is collecting animatronics, but still loving coming over to here these great pinball artists and their wonderful music
Give me your money.
hauzparty it is used, while in Multiball (the one which you start by locking the balls in the upper playfield).
I really wish this music would get the retro new wave synth treatment.
Me: I am the black knight.
Peeps: ????
2:19 Now you battle Black Knightmare! Power level: 300%!
Can you beat him?
Good times
YOU GOT THE POWER!
YOU GOT THE MIGHT!
It even sounds like Crue Ball. He must have liked that sound, whatever it is.
Hah. Hey. Glad to hear from you. I do love your music, abuse of FM Synth or no. :)
Glad you're still around, too, though I hope you've got more to put on your resume than Zynga games...
BK2K confirmed to be the next release on Pinball Arcade!
I can't wait.
The Choir of Awesomeness approves!
it's already out for iOS, Android, and Steam.
Question is WHEN?
Robert what are you playing it on? I can confirm it's already out on Android (as I own it)
Though I would kill if I could get my hands on a Crue Ball soundfont. I like messing with the genesis instruments in FL studio and I can't find the heavy guitar sound in any packs :\
When medieval hits heavy metal!
dark souls music
it is now czcams.com/video/m6tWk01Rrc4/video.html
Black Knight: Give me your souls!
Don't insult this retro masterpiece like that.
I just realized there is grass in this image
I AM THE BLACK KNIGHT
The Black Knight will %#@& YOU!
noice
I have no idea what you call it. Electro-synth power metal? Yeah I've said of Schmidt "He's a one-trick pony. It's just a hell of a trick."
This theme sounds like the Sega Genesis game music.
Apart from this soundtrack being made by someone who also worked on a Sega Genesis game, the pinball system used a Yamaha sound chip from the same family (but not the exact model) that the Sega Genesis used.
The voice/singing was made using a separate sound chip in the same system.
this is haRDCORE
Holy fuck this shreds
Is the part 1:50-2:10 in the game? Played BK2K many times but never heard it.
+hauzparty That's the "Double Knights Challenge" (two-ball multiball) theme.
anyone have the game near them? the one at my local arcade just broke and I'm devastated.
I have one at home, which i bought broken, and fixed it up. Maybe if you're bold you can go out to the arcade and ask if they're willing to sell it at a good price now that it's broken :) Plenty of help online on fixing them
Ebay has cheap parts for this specific table. Might not be expensive to fix, depending on what actually went.
Yeah, or Planetary Pinball Supply, Marco's, Pinball Life etc... Parts aren't the problem
I do. Geeks Mania in Madison, WI has a copy. Pretty good condition, the flippers are a little on the weak side but it's completely playable regardless.
Sucks that they removed the voices from the main theme in Pinball Arcade.
Just in the menu. The voices are all there in-game.
Bonesaw brought me here
