    Back in the early 90s my dad asked for a raise at the radio station he worked at. At the time the radio station didn't have the budget to give him the raise. His boss said "look guy if I turn my head and look away and that pinball machine goes missing I won't say anything". My dad said deal! He got a buddy of his who had a special truck built for transporting pinball machines to bring it to his house. I grew up playing it, the black knight 2000. He just restored it and had all the original lights replaced with leds. We had a blast playing it again. Most badass soundtrack. I came here to listen to it again after just playing it. Got all 3 balls in the draw bridge on my 3rd go and almost got the jackpot (it went halfway up the ramp and came back down!!)

      Kelly Bremermann - It may not be the same steel and glass reality you were used to, but I’d highly recommend checking out Pinball Arcade. It has an extremely faithful recreation of BK2000 and the original Black Knight (the one I pretty much donated my entire childhood to). It’s accurate right down to some of the spots the ball would get stuck and need a nudge to release.

    Amongst the shadows of the night, he lives. He is powerful. He savagely strives to take your wealth and make it his own. He'll stop at nothing to achieve this, and relishes the fact. Your tears of sadness and loss are the sweetest taste he's ever known. He is greed. Your gold sates the fire burning deep within the pits of his tormented soul. He is relentless. You cannot run. Fear is his greatest weapon- besides a bad-ass lightning spear, crafted from the heart of a storm by a totally kick-ass wizard. He is not without a sense of humor, however. He is sarcastically humble. He denies his strength to those who sing his praises. He cannot accept their idolization. He knows what he is. Existence is a joke to him. He is cunning. He laughs and mocks you for succumbing to his will. He swiftly rides off atop his threatening, dark stallion, taking your riches along with him, returning to the shadows whence he came. Still, you feel compelled to follow, and give him your money, willfully.
    Man, who knew Ted Dibiase had a side gig?

In fact, they might as well buy off Williams Entertainment so they can start making Pinball Gaming once again, maybe even make Video Gaming versions of said Pinball Games.
      One thing is for certain, should The Black Knight of his Eponymous Pinball Series get in the upcoming Mortal Kombat game as a guest character for any reason will be a major first as I don't ever recall any character from Pinball to be introduced as a guest character for any video gaming media.
      And if The Black Knight from his Eponymous Pinball Series ever dose get in the upcoming Mortal Kombat game, I can see him and Shao Kahn exchange a set of very interesting words if given that chance, plus he'll raid Shang Tsung's Island for all his money and take over Outworld like a complete Boss!

We used to go to Keansburg Boardwalk a few times a week as kids in the 80’s and dump a roll of quarters at Bev and Wally’s. (an arcade there) The first time we walked by this machine we were literally mesmerized. We could not believe this was coming out of an arcade game let alone a pinball machine. We would stand there and let it cycle over and over (and yes eventually play it). Don’t forget, there were no home platforms or arcade games that played anything even remotely close to this level. I remember going to an Orlando arcade all the time in 1989 to play (ironically) Black Tiger, and hearing this song playing repeatedly behind me. It was like my game had borrowed this awesome theme for itself.

    This must be the best use of samples I have ever known of in any kind of game, and the music itself could tear the universe a new one!

    Got pinball arcade on ps4 over the weekend. Went and got this pinball machine dlc immediately. How could they release that game without putting Black Knight 2000 in it?!

    • @legoferrari14
      @legoferrari14 Před 6 lety +9

      Simply put they didn't have the resources; first they have to actually obtain the physical machine itself which is tough to get with only a few thousand manufactured over its lifespan. And once they DO get it, they must restore the thing to ensure all mechanical components work as intended when it comes time to simulate the physics. A lot of time, money and work goes into recreating even one table.

    Best pinball of all time. Back in high school a few of us would skip out early to go to the bowling alley that had BK2 as we would call it. The best part was the machine randomly saying "YOU WILL DIE". Fuckin bad ass... Lol
