Oh sir I was in Blackpool overnight yesterday and I was so hoping to bump into you! I saw Chris at the £1 Burger 🍔 and took a few walks around the back streets myself. Me and the daughter had a good time and I will be up again for Fleetwood Vs Walsall ⚽️ ….Smithy
I know some of the locals aren’t impressed but this for me is a game changer as a disabled person - it’s cut out the need to pay for taxis or struggle to walk to and from the station. I do think it’s taken a ridiculous amount of time and money to complete though.
It will save that long walk down and up with our suitcases, we are disabled and use walking sticks so it's going to be very handy for us ...😊

Good Evening Stephen. What a Lovely relaxing ride on the Brand new Modern tram from Starr Gate to Blackpool North. i really enjoyed you inviting me along on the journey. Very cheap i though the tram Fare was at £ 3.50. Once again your very detailed Narration was really Superb. This would be Excellent, if you and a few Friends one night, wanted to go on a Beer Crawl around a few Bars and Pubs, the perfect transport you would use. Leave your vehicle at home. This looks like a very Modern Transport Service in Blackpool. This will be very Popular with the visitors and the Local City Ladies and Gentlemen. What a very Lovely and Modern Hotel at the Blackpool North Station the Holiday Inn. Yes, I am very Impressed by this Brand new Tram Service. Thank you Stephen.
Really enjoyed this video. I think the tram stop at North Station looks fab, and I love the Blackpool North train station sign, but I don't fancy going through that tunnel in the winter when it gets dark early. Didn't realise how far the new hotel goes back from the front entrance. It's huge. It has inspired me to get the bus to Starr Gate and do the tram ride. Thank you.
That's a good ride from Starr Gate, I think if anyone coming to Blackpool wanted to do an on and off the transport tour of the area at £6.60 that would be a cheap day out if they plan their route right,
Apparently beer cans get heavier when empty and muscles get weaker after drinking them, if I was someone in the council I would assign a few staff for a week to go up and down the whole of the front and pick up the cans and fast food containers dumped by the lazy brigade and put it in a couple of caged council refuse wagons and display it on the front flies and all to let them know how bad they are.

Greetings Stephen, hope you're keeping well? Another splendid video and awesome information as always, very interesting content and loved the on-board commentary too. Looks like it's going to be an integral success for locals and visitors alike, what a worthwhile project to add into central Blackpool. I also love the Day Saver tram tickets, adults £6.60 for 24 hours, hop on / hop off and you can also use any Fylde Bus too. It certainly beats getting jammed on the Prom and finding a car parking space. I like parking down South Shore end, then catching Tram at Burlington Street West. The heading to Clevelys.

Nice video vlog of your first trip on the tram up Talbot Rd to North Station. I see you met with Charles from Life On The Ocean Wave and Blackpool Belle at North Station. Will be a handy stop for when I eventually travel up by train to pick up the tram here. They have made a grand job of North Station terminal too.

Regarding the noisy aeroplane , its when the noise suddenly stops you have to worry. I remember the crazy golf , having spent many hours missing the holes😂. Finishing off with a picnic in the dunes made a great day out. The one thing you can't take away from Blackpool is the fabulous sand. It puts the south coast pebbles to shame . The only thing I really miss is a full service of heritage trams. With only a few running on selected services it's not as interesting as it used to be. Whilst the new ones are ok they are just busses on rails now, not an attraction.

Looking forward to being in "Mother " Blackpool in Sept . I live 10 miles away but holiday there with a friend . The upwardly mobile Blackpool continues to take shape. A trip to Fleetwood then taking the ferry over to Knott-end ,as long as it isnt broken down AGAIN .

The illuminated trams are back at Rigby Road (tram town) they have balloons 717 & 700, Brush 631, Bolton 66 and open top 227 down at Stargate

Hi mate,,,,great that trsm go strsight from station very handy mate,,,but what when footite season starts sll yhe fans will be trsvelling on it there bsd enough on trains but not good for holiday makers,, i will be using tthe flertwood tram up and down prom,,grest video mate,

Loved your different type of presentation. Will be trying out the tram when in Blackpool late July. Good to see the steelwork that was erected for the EasyHotel removed. It was an eyesore. Two contractors failed while trying to erect the hotel. ColinSeaside I have not watched for years. I watched him religiously when the Premier Inn was being built

I was on one of the preview tours yesterday and thought the new tram terminus looked great!

"The Lemon Tree" - that's a blast from past. I used to work as a barman at Pontins back in the 1980s. Tuesday nights were the worst. That was the Umpah Band.

i prefer the old Blackpool trams when i was in Blackpool years ago the old trams were still in Service
Would loved to have seen you out and about on Saturday there . wasn't the best of weather...but had a cracking cheses burger with onions from the famous 1pound burger man 😁😁 .back home in South Wales now .but back up in August for bank holiday weekend.
