Oooh girl! Love this crackle!! I would LOVE to see how you did the first mokume gane piece you laid on the gold. It really brings everything together. Thank you for sharing this unique tutorial!
With all the layers of crackle and alcohol ink, I really lost the mokume gane underneath. It wasn't until you sanded and buffed that it reappeared. On the pieces that you didn't sand, I think it would look the same with just a solid color of clay as a base. Will you be varnishing any of the pieces?
Sad that you lost it)) not me)) I like to make different experiments... so I showed different results... Looks like you don't like my work or not happy with any of those results... I will not varnish them, after baking, I sanded and polished a few of them) and they are looks great! The mokume Gane layer can be seen there - is no mokume layer there will be different results!
@@SweetyBijouPro Oh, I like your work very much! You are one of the best polymer artists I have ever seen! I'm just trying to make sure I get the technique properly understood. With sanding and buffing the mokume shows through clearly, if you leave it unsanded it will still be interesting, but the mokume wont't show much. I varnish or resin most of my work, I guess I don't have the patience for sanding. So I'm often curious how pieces look when varnished.
Thank you, Diane! Glad you like it! I sanded is very slightly, first with 600grit and then 1000grit. And then buffed it on my buffer! The other pieces I made using leftovers from the veneer probably ever did not have a mokume gane... because I used it not on full surface:) but I like to use all parts of the cracked pattern)) I also like to use varnishes or resin but not on all my products/projects!
Wow this is so different from anything I have you seen you do. Nice work !! I would love to see how you did the Mokume gane pattern :) Also what are your premade shapes made of? They look like resin.
Hello Ludmila! What a different direction you have taken! (not including your new forms). I would love to know what inspired you to take such a different direction. Also with the use of these new paints and art overlay? Is it really possible that it comes out so shiny and beautiful after sanding and …buff for long? ❤️ Marilyn 🤞🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
So, you leave the baking shells in them? They were beautiful! Another fine work of art!

Thank you so much!! The baking bases are made using 3D printing innovation out of special resin product! :)

The Poly Paste allows the baked clay to peel off the baking base after???
No, Vicki! This base staying in finished jewelry:) paste makes the clay glue to the base:)
Beautiful 💜!
🙏 Godspeed PEACE ☮️ to Ukraine 🇺🇦 and keep Ludmila 🌻 safe!
We need her! 🇺🇦🌻☮️🗺️
