DJ Screw was a musichead so he always screwed remixes. Alot of the songs he mixes are remixes which were rare back then cause you actually had to go to the store and find it. Alot of Jay-Z songs he mixes where remixes. Nowadays you can just look up on CZcams and find the official remix to a song but back then Screw did that for everyone without CZcams.
For instance on his version of "Funky Expedition" by Conscious Daughters, he used the remix which is really rare, even now that it's been out for 25 years, imagine back then?
So many songs i heard screwed and chopped 1st, then when i hear the original version...I'm disappointed...screwed sounds so much better
