Those require much more testing since they have so many modules and get released in 3 or 4 tanks at once

T69 is such trash. My least favorite tank. Needs a buff so bad.
Yeah I haven't seen the gameplay yet at the time of writing this but it seems way more like a tier 9 or 10 tank with its gun (and a little nominal armor) toned down to tier 8. Instead of indeed some weaker tanks that are more true/classic tier 8 tanks like the Pershing. People seemed to like the Pershing but I recently grinded up to the M48 Patton (of course to put Arnie in it), but the Pershing was quite disappointing.
T69 is so bad I gave up on the line, the previous tanks were fun to play though.
Most researchable tier 8 tanks feel more like tier 7 or 7.5 while gold tanks are like 8.5 or above.
Or progetto 46 to any other tier VIII medium tank, thats the definition of pay to win
Remember when autoloaders were a nice thing to have and quite uncommon? Now they're everywhere and rattle off 20 shots in 0.2 seconds. The WT E100 was removed for that reason now its everywhere

He can't do that simply because the account he's using to play the tank is the "sheriff" account that has tons of gold, free exp, credits and as far as I know the tanks already have 6x100% skills on each member, even if that is not the case he could easily just buy lots of crew books.

It would be nice to see QB play these tanks with regular equipment like it's peon's, and a 4 still crew. That would give us a real feel for the tanks game play.
Well normal people aren't going to have these tanks. Sure, maybe on the standard new premiums, but these no. These are for the whales and thus you will always be fighting these tanks against those crews and equipment

But this tank is so bad. Everyone paying like 10k-20k gold for this is an idiot. DPM is just so bad aswell as the gunhandling. And this 40mm plate on the turret is a masive weakspot.
Always ceep in mind than QB is using a god crew with every skill. 99% of the playerbade will never have such a good setup for this tank.
I really don't mind this tank in the enemy team. It's free damage for me.

I dont like how the average damage per shot is increasing and increasing....
I remember when the average damage per shot was about 240 at tier 8, but now the new mediums are all doing such an incredible alpha damage that tanks like the Pershing or the T25 Pilot just suck.
Remember when the T-34-3 had to sacrifice multiple other characteristics, like having almost no depression, to have 390 alpha damage?
Now a days you can have a medium with that damage and able to use ridgelines with easy

@@LtAlguien Yeah, just got the 122 TM which is probably one of the most balanced premium tanks introduced lately but it still has 400 alpha damage and the only thing it exchanges is a bad reload rate. Other than that, it has great armor, penetration, and depression, it isn't very mobile but can still get where it needs to.
@@LtAlguien Even though i absolutely agree with your point, there are a couple of key things we must bear in mind:
1. The T34-3 came out in a very delicate moment, it was a replacement for the Type 59 and even when it came out, the T-34-3 was considered not the best, if not straight out bad. And that is 2012/13 meta.
2. The T-34-3 is a vehicle *with preferential matchmaking*. Its advertised as a 7.5 tier tank. Don't forget that fact.

WG is just giving us an opportunity to spend all the gold we got from the Christmas Boxes (and so they can sell more gold of course).
Think about it - if people way over spend and use all their gold from Christmas boxes on 1 or maybe 2 tanks during this event WG can simply add them to the next Christmas calendar befor the boxes(We normally get 5-7 days of tanks befor the boxes go on sale) which would force people to buy gold to buy them/ or they just drain everyone that dry and add loads of new tanks to the calendar forcing people to buy more boxes/gold at christmas.
Remember when the 400 Alpha of the T34 was a lot on Tier 8 back in the day? Yeah, today several medium Tanks have almost the same alpha with a magazine to follow up.

Except the Lowe's armor buffs make it a monster in today's game. 5+ years ago I used to wreck the Lowe, but now I struggle hull down in the same tier because the turret can really bounce shots now.

In the future when you’re making these videos which I’m grateful to watch I would appreciate it if you would play the tank with normal equipment for one battle just to show the difference you get when you don’t have the purple since most people don’t have that much purple equipment. Thank you
As someone already stated, most casual players who don't own bond equipment will also probably never own tanks like the AMBT. Difficult to obtain for everyone, but the very few who have the absolute best of everything WoT has to offer.
@@comradeiosif2794 Well I don’t consider myself a casual player I have 62 premium tier eight but I definitely can’t afford bond equipment for all of them nor would I put it on every to write ion even the ones I really enjoy I save that for my tier tens and I don’t consider it a fair comparison totally took away some thing with all purple equipment when the majority of players can’t afford it if they start selling bonds in the store I might buy some but I never buy some for every tank I own. Understand it’s different for CZcamsr he wants to look really good when he plays The new tank but it isn’t really a fair comparison on how to tackle play for the majority of players with a purple equipment on it still love watching his videos though very informative and very impressive gameplay.

I compard it to my Bisonte and I have to say I'm not persuaded to pay a shitload of gold for a tank I basically already have.
Also that remark about it's alpha made me think about something. Way back the IS-3's 390 damage was considered a 'heavy hitter'. and other heavies even just had 320 or 360. And now Mediums get 360 alpha also... seriously, WG is blurring the lines waaaaaaaaaay too much between classes.
Just like the tier x wheeled lights, are the heavy hitters.. and with their super accuracy!
Agreed , not everyone has top equipment for their tanks , and nor everyone can max it out as you are doing. I fully understand its your account and you do whats best for you. But as most of us don't have options to do that you should use normal equipment and without premium consumables and see how tank is acting then and how it is to play. And maybe not worth even getting it

Respect your opinion, and your my 'go to' for reviews. However- All premium equipment, great crew, food, etc, etc, and one of the best players of the game vs same tier. For us mortals, with good, but not the best of everything, facing tier 9's & 10's? Going to get destroyed in this tank, I'll keep my prog 46 & and my gold.

Geez, Now I want THIS tank too!! Progetto rental was my favorite and WORST realization when it said I COULN'T buy it at the end. I guess I need these two well balanced tanks and I'll be A-O-K
Disclaimer - I'm not a very good player, maybe slightly above average. I'm enjoying this game less and less and one of the reasons is the number of autoloading/autoreloading tanks. They make people either camp more or die faster, as even small mistake can now be punished with much more HP loss.
I know players like/need gimmicks, however there should be other ways to make gameplay more interesting.
I just recently revisited WoT again and I am playing a little bit. I am quite annoyed because Non-autoloaders /magazine tanks are just literally uncompetitive.

I feel your mate and agree that something like that would be awesome...I just came back from a 5-6 year break last month too, damn the game is hard to play now...So many new maps and changes to maps and all my old tanks are outdated...Half my medium tanks are being overtaken by heavies when we do the initial scramble for map positions...
That said I wouldn't count on it, he did make some amazing positioning vids years ago, but he mentioned that they took him forever to make...Better to go catch him or some of the other twitch streamers and note where they go in light, meds and heavies on the different maps...And good luck..!

showcasing a tank with a crew with almost 10 skills (commander even 13) and pimped out with bond equipment only suits the unicons. Why not showing what the tank can do with "normal" crews and aquipment for the "normal" players.

Something to keep in mind, really experienced or good players will make any tank look good. Or at least are capable of that, with this tank it should be easy enough for them.

22:35 FYI intuision will not reload a full clip. Auto reloaders only get the first round if the Italians are anything to go by. So you won't get a full gold clip. Using it will increase your pen, but drop your DPM.
As a small p2p (bought ELC and borrasq) I don't really mind missing out on limited/collector tanks as long as I could fight them off without being a huge risk for little reward. My main gripe is just the powercrept on some tech tree tanks (eg Tiger P, T69, T32 to note a few tanks that I used to like) and after playing ELC Even 90 after a couple hundred battles, it really do feel very unfair for tech tree tanks. They could work but it still require high effort for little reward just to counter.

This tank, like the last 2, is for free XP only on the Asia server. I get the feeling that WG either doesn't care, or didn't notice that the Asia server has no gold ones. So unless you've saved up millions upon millions of free XP, good luck getting all of them. :(

I was apalled and complained too, but then the opera and the 268 v5 ended up going for 165k and 235k exp for competitive bids, so 6600 and 9400 gold, respectively. That's a great deal. Esp for tier x premiums, considering eu and na had a minimum starting bid of 18500. I just used up 2m free exp during holidays, but when i saw how cheap they were going for i ground out 500k exp today alone for the ambt. I have a premium account, 100s of 100% exp and 300% free exp boosters, and had like 200 x5 missions for tanks ive bought previously so it was easy for me.
Pretty sure it's a regulation issue as free XP is technically 'earned' rather than bought

They have their own region where they sold the wt uf e100 at these auctions for 70k gold. it's a much more predatory system for a country where gambling is supposedly illegal (except in Macau). Nothing ethical about China's business practices, it's the exact opposite. Doesn't hurt to research before typing something out. Just look at their policies regarding foreign businesses operating there. Yeah, ethical, sure.
The reason these are going for free exp on asia is South Korea's national gambling commission who brought in laws regarding loot boxes and gambling in video games.
This auction is frankly disrespectful. Wargaming: you decide how much you want to overpay us for this turd. Minimum bid is full price which is already 10 times the price of a brand new full AAA game, thats the minimum bid and the auction is closed.

there are almost less than 5 tech tree tanks in every tier 8 match in asia server, and out of those almost none play pershing or t69, even if they do I rarely see them do more than 1k dmg.
I'll take my t69 over this any day...Mostly because I don't have the gold to afford it...

On the HK server all 3 auctions have been for free XP. Min bid for the AMBT min bid was 155k with 10k units and everyone who bid appears to have got it as competitive bid wasn’t ‘activated’.

Unpopular opinion (maybe): This tank doesn't seem as good as the first evaluation/impression makes it look like.
I'd say "fairly okay", but where I see it's biggest downside is the limited/hard-capped amount of threat it poses. While a Progetto (we all know it's Tier9) with its fast shell-reload and immense mobility has a way higher dynamic range which kind of situations it can approach/hold, the AMBT has to struggle with a very narrow bandwidth of "can I stay/fight this situation comfortably or do I need to run". As QB already mentioned, the clip does really seem to be designed as kind of "never touch/last resort" thing.
Where I see its absolute strength: Partnered with a OG-Heavy. Combined with a second gun and a chunk of hitpoints, this thing will sweep heavy-flanks.
Totally fits the "bring additional HP/guns to your heavy fights"-meta (hello all obj268vX)
Btw: Anyone else get the impression, that Gun-Laying-Drive suits this tank better than Vert-Stab? Count the situations, in which you are already still and aim, vs shooting from movement (yes, I am aware of the general rule of "never use GLD" xD)
Your DPM per battle is not less when you take that 3rd shot because anytime you forgo a shot, you will never get that shot opportunity back. DPM I’m the next minute is irrelevant. All that matters is your damage per battle

That's true for sure, but what you'll often see in the unicorn streamers is that they fire so many more rounds than most other players do, as they're better at getting into the correct positions...So for someone like me, firing all 3 shots would probably mean more overall damage that game, but for teh really good players that doesn't always hold true, as they have way more chances to get in damage than I do...
@@Kasperring it depends of the situation. if you know you wont be able to peek again soon anyway (tanks are ready to shoot at you) you unclip and wait. if you can peek often without getting fucked you can keep loading 1 shell. also like qb said 2 shot unclip is more forgiveable than 3 shot, again dependa of situation tho

This is a tank that ABSOLUTELY needs the Vents/Stabs/Aiming treatment
For anyone that's still clicking to acknowledge the "Incomplete Ammunition" message - just go to the Field Mods page, and click the bar under the alternate load. It will stop that message (you won't be able to swap during the loading screen, obviously). This works for the alternate equipment configuration, just that has no message if left empty.
You can also just "load" the same items in the same spots on the alternate loadout, so it won't cost you more credits because those items are already onboard, bought and paid.

At this point, the only way wg could balance their game is to add more broken tanks. Nobody is going to play their weaker tech tree counterpart. I haven't played the game in years, but I bet at least 80% of the tanks at tier 8 are premium. (In a match)

Serously, even the Standard B does not seem that better compared to this.

@@philosophist9562 The difference is not that big to feel like a whole tier higher.
Main difference is the penetration, but no doubt players will play this like the Skoda T56, full of gold.
Standard B has 164 higher DPM, 53mm more standard pen and 52mm more gold pen, better in every gun handling stat (especially that huge bloom after firing that AMBT), a *lot* better mobility, and slightly better base camo rating. Aside from pen (which is a stat Wargaming basically alters to fit a tank into a given tier anyway; the Skoda T56 would be a very viable Tier 9 heavy tank if the *only* buff given was better pen), the most important of those is the mobility. Standard B has power/weight of 20 hp/ton, top speed of 63 km/h forward and 23 reverse, and its terrain resistances are good enough to actually reach that speed on hard and medium. On the other hand, the Standard B's armor is nonexistent.
That said, the AMBT really seems like it ought to be a Tier 9 or even Tier 10 reward tank. It's got the same gun as the M48A5 just with arbitrarily worse shells and the same engine as the Leopard 1 with arbitrarily worse horsepower, after all. Wargaming simply gimped the hell out of its penetration and mobility to make it a Tier 8 premium. I'm not even sure why they did that, given that Tier 9 premiums are now a thing anyway. So it's not like putting it at Tier 8 was the only way to sell it instead of making it a grind reward.
@@RedXlV Also to put some perspective, the gun handling is more comparable to the Char Futur 4 and the mobility to a Centurion 7/1. Only the top speed of the AMBT is weirdly low like a heavy tank.
It almost feels like if it was designed to be a tier 9 (even the look, it seems too gorgeous to be a tier 8) but then they downfitted it to avoid some more shitstorm.

The thing is with this tank, that QB uses the best possible equipment and the best crew possible and the tank still fails in most of the situations. The first battle can be excluded because most of the time you get same tier or higher tier matchups in a t8 vehicle.
You want balance, add weather. Rain and Snow limiting visibility & traction...

I get anxious when CCs click "ok" so quickly on the "Incomplete Ammo" message. I've recently entered a match with something like 10 shells in my light, ran out, and could only spot for my team.

This tank looks fairly balanced imo. I'm not sad that I won't be getting this. Was the same for the other auction tanks so far.
Except it should have had 300 alpha with better accuracy rather than these insane heavy tank guns they keep giving mediums now.
it's a medium tank but its gun hits harder than the counterpart heavy italian tech tree tank...
I only look for tier 8 tanks since they can farm and play in frontline (to farm even more) so this one caugh my attention.
The premium isn't APCR. It's APDS (Armor Piercing Discarding Sabot).

I mean it’s a fact this game is free to play but hell it’s not free to enjoy. It’s more like suffering if you’re a rather causal player who don’t really understand all aspects of the game and what to do in every situation.
All you gotta do is push yourself to be better then you can farm people in these tanks it may not happen all the time but it can alot more when you change your mindset but yea the game is hell for a free to play player

Great details, thanks. I need to ask, I see you can select from 2 different equipment loadouts for your tanks, How do you do that???? I see no way on tthe NA server to mimic and it would solve a lot of problems. However @ 81 YO, I have never even been able to figure out how to move crews and such from one tank to another, LOL, I live with it but all my tanks have their own equipment and 100% crews.
How much do people think it is going to go for??
I would also like to know. Right now I have minimum bid because there is 10,000 of them available on USA servers and that is almost half of the server population. I doubt they have 10k gold to throw down.

I feel like a winner after I didnt spend a single penny/gold to convert my free exp to get this russian TD yesterday. Of course I didnt get it as I had about 200k free exp only but it feels like I won something. Feel sorry for those who were tricked by WG and went into this CASINO's gambling mode again. How about this one? I guess a lot of you folks are now short on gold but with a tremendous amount of useless free experience :D.
It means that bid for this american medium wont go too high.
I am really surprised how high the bid went for this t10, useless because cannot be played in ranked.. russian tank destroyer. Of course.. it can make 100bonds per week if played but honestly.. was it worth so much? Is it even competitive in tier X random battles? Imo its just super fancy and expensive dust colector.. but time will tell of course.
This american is at least a tier 8 and can earn some silver when played.. but its crap as hell. Its slower to most heavy tanks, have no gun depression up. Reload is worse to the one Bisonte has, and the one Bisonte has is really bad already. It has terrible ground resistance which makes it even more slugish. Its a bit like.. half projetto46 :D. Its worse in every single thing by half to it. The only good thing about it is the turret which is decent. Its not as good as QB says since can be penned when enemy switches to gold but.. its ok. It cannot sidescrape at all due to side chicks.. the armor was designed for pure frontal ridge fight but because of the neck without armor.. it is gonna fail even there. Have you seen this neck? Its ridiculously huge and goes across entire tank if hidden behind the ridge line. So to avoid being penned you need to expose gun only which is going to be pretty damn hard. The gun accuracy itself is as bad as the one Bisonte has, and trust me, the Bisonte has a really bad gun accuracy and needs highly trained crew and full gun stabilisation setup to be playable. But while the Bisonte gun sucks.. this american medium crap is even worse as it blooms after each shot like KV2 or Caliban does.
The lower plate is a huge and flat HP piniata. Its a massive plane with the size of half tank and can be penned permanently even by tier 6 light tanks.
Imo its a better choice then yesterdays russian Tank Destroyer no one is gonna play after a week.. you are gonna see. But its still a very bad tank for this amount of gold.
Its not a great miracle tank, nothing it has is good or even decent. To be honest, its a bad tank but since its a brand new, no one really knows how bad it is so WG might scam some to spent more gold reserves on it.
I feel so sorry for all of you guys who didnt wake up yet and are caught by WG greed. This greed level is nothing I have ever seen before. Its totally a new level of player base milking.
I really suggest to everyone to wake up and realise how WG tricks you. This should be the game about tanks, not a gambling simulator. This game also isnt fun anymore if compared to others, I suggest to play something else just to get some additional perspective which can help you to realise how screwed you are. Design of this game is purely focused on monetisation and how to milk more from the player base. Every single feature added and designed is about money grab.
I cant see any of them made to improve ingame fun.
As said I played War Thunder nowadays and there is fun even at tier 1.. or rank1 as they call it. WoT became a game supporting toxic competition even within the same team and isnt playable below tier 7 at all. Just play ranked battles.. I dont get it how someone could even design it this way. Its so obvious that it promotes sefishness and toxicity. Generates tones of frustration and feels like a hard job to make. Where is the actual fun factor here? Games should be about FUN.
Also I can feel that QuickyBaby breaks. He still kind of acts like a WG salesman.. but sometimes I can see that he also understands that it has nothing with tanks anymore and its ordinary, greedy and cold money grab which use gaming addiction and young age and lack of experience with the cruel world for some.

Got mine on the Au server for 156,000 XP (minimum bid +1 increment) I had it sitting around so just through it out there. On this server all the Under the hammers are free XP purchase only - almost nothing is being sold

except the armor, gun, gun mechanic, alpha damage, clip size, clip potential, size, terrain resistance, power/weight nad most importantly, penetration (and shell velocity) on both shell types, all of which are better on the AMBT?

Keep in mind guys this is a press release tank, account and rigged MM ofc. because of..WG what else. They want you to see only the shiny stuff. 3 games out of 3 against T7 and T8?! This could happen only during the honey moon period with this tank. Try to get T8 MM in Skoda 56 these days after the honey moon period long time ended in a hands of a regular player. Trust me you will hate this tank, not because it's bad, but because you play against your tier 2-3 games out of 10
I still get a lot of Tier 7 games in my T 56.... and these is no such thing as rigged MM.... it’s just an excuse for bad players to not improve.

I'm kind of late to the party, but I got this tank in the holiday loot crates for 2022 and I honestly like it better than the BZ-176.

On the Asian server the auction was in Free XP, not Gold, with a starting bid of 155,000 XP. My winning bid was 206,000 XP but I reckon it went for a lot less. That’s a bit of a bargain
i think is more atank for shoot 1 wait shoot 1 wait...and only in close attacks use the unload of all 3...that shows the blooming. i auctioned for it...and it was the inly one till now. not perfect tank but...i like it.
Got mine for only 12K on US servers. I wasn't even expecting to win it, like at all.
To everyone saying "Hey Quicky show us pleb equipment and low skills". I put Arnie in as the commander, swapped over my bond vents (one of the only two bond equips I have) slapped on a turbo and stabs and I was whipping across the battlefield like no ones business slingin out good damage in my first game just loaded with AMBTs. Its turret is crazy good at tier, I can't think what could actually go through it dead on while hull down in a good spot. Maybe some I think this is definitely a tank that is entering my rotation alongside the five box tanks (which the RNG gods gave me all five of them in my first 10 boxes).

Just a heads up, ALL of the auctions here on the Asia server are in Free EXP, with a competitive bid shown, at least so far. AMBT starts at 155,000 Free EXP with 10,000 units. So far not all units have been bid on about 12 hours in.

We had 10,000 units on the Asia server with a stating bid of 155,000 exp and that's what I got it for because we don't have the server population to bump the price. lol.
We do have the population, but i’m assuming why we didn’t reach the amount of bidders was because everyone who actually has enough free exp has spent it competing for the OBJ 268 V5 a day before. Whoever is left either didn’t have enough, or was saving it for the QL and the Type 59G. Which by looking at the bids for the last 2 tanks, that became obvious.
On the Asia sever the ambt is for free exp. Starting bid 155k

heavies are a bit too dominant in the meta now. They need a nerf to their shell velocity so they can't snipe while also being hull down. On Himmelsdorf, heavies will be as strong as they always are.

No, they don't need a velocity nerf. Its already not great and most heavies have terrible gun handling. They need to stop giving every heavy 5 billion armor and unpenetratable turrets.
Its stats are quite reasonable when you consider its a medium, not a heavy, but carrying a bigger gun, to intimidate heavies on a ridge.
Sad only had 460k FreeXP and the Obj 268 V ist exactly my playstyle but I guess im gonna spend it to get the STB-1 and E50M and Fieldmods for the Obj. 268 Boomstick
spending free xp for field mods is pretty dumb, actually. You would were to be better advised to convert it to crew xp when the conversion is discounted. The XP for the field mods is nowadays not that difficult to get, with Premium Account, Personal Reserves, and the like.

I would like it if these type of tanks would come into the game more often in WoT. I don't want op Premiums like the Skoda T56 and EBR 75 FL 10 going into the game,this is a perfecf example of a good and competitive premium thats not Overpowered.Good Job WG on this one
The tank is nice and functional, but it will end up costing too much gold, while on the Asian server, the WT 12 is being auctioned, the old E-100 waffle maker but changed, I don't know what changes it has, but on Friday, it was auctioned from 60,000 gold initial, although I doubt if it will be true...
Asian Server or South East Asia, SEA, i.e. Hong Kong down to Australia and New Zealand is different to Chinese Server. SEA isnt getting the WT
Gosh I actually want this vehicle I love the Bisonte it is my fave T8 tank and I have quite a few. The Bisonte is a tank I will always play I have had some crap games and need something to make myself feel better about myself. The Bisonte gives me so many options to win a game, I have now 239 games at a 60% win rate so I am pretty hyped for this American tank.

Quickybaby as a WoT Community Contributor could you please suggest to WG that they add an option to chose Autoreloading / Magazine Tanks in the Carousel , as I like you as I am sure many other players do too like playing these tanks .
You could always just set your favorite autoloaders and autoreloaders as your primary vehicles.
It looks like the rhino where if it's under pressure it won't do good but if it's allowed to reload then it'll be dangerous
The good thing of this tank, is that use a "medium tank spawn" so you enter the battle to almost a tier8 autoloader HEAVY stats, but enemy gets what? a stock tier 8 or something not faster than you with 240 alpha? So its a heavy tank that counts as medium so your team had 1 tank more IRL, as happen with all "assault medium class" but this one had no turret weakspots and heavy tank alpha, not like M48rpz, the MINI-KRANVAGN "AMBT" is here to lead the tier 8+ hulldown.
It's the shittiest tank if you are going to use standard equipments... even if you have bond equipments why wud you put them on this... ? you chose to ignore the worst parts... very poor DPM (worst then the Bisconte)... very poor armor profile(only the frontal turret is good that too if you don't catch any shells in the neck)... a huge lower plate... poor mobility... the worst part... the worst gun handling stats... 7 bloom after fire... even artys don't have that... lol... it's the reason on Asian server it's 11 hours since the auction started and literally it's still showing 10k units available... so the sell have not even crossed 100 units... now stop scaring people with your false tactics...
@@-saklo-2256 Yes alpha damage and autoloaders are not an advantage in peek a boo playing, and hulldown is not a tactic, yes yes. Are you seruious? this medium has heavier armor than AMX50-100 and has better DPM, alpha and armor, even has more hp/ton. The high dpm tier 8 meds had low alpha, not a 1080 damage in 9 seconds when the enemy med can do 480 damage (2 shoots), even Progetto54 is worst. Obviously it appears on medium tank spawn, if you dont know to play an assault-medium, dont buy that, i see a lot of people suiciding with the M48 raumpanzer too using it as a medium, it isnt.
