Rams were 1/11 on 3rd down and 1/4 in teh Redzone. Uncharacteristic game. First two weeks were phenomenal, and then they play like this. Bengals weren't pretty either, but they looked a whole lot better that 2nd half. Disappointed that the Rams didn't play to their potential, and choked this game.

It’s also worth noting during the game, the referee calls were terrible. Tutu atwell did a rushing touchdown only to be taken away from them because they though he was out of bounds but very close to the sidelines and the bengals call for a timeout after Stafford snap the ball, stafford threw a pick but one of them hit the ground and moved around. Had those two never been taken away they would had won

Bengals defense needs to be talked about more as one of the elite defenses in the league. Every time the Bengals needed the defense to make a play they did in a must win game. Bengals will need them to continue carry as they try to figure out the offense.

@@bentientcheu1853 the only reason they were in the game was because of the defense though. Also Lamar Jackson in short yardage situations is one of the hardest players to guard even if you send a spy your then loosing the advantage to guard the pass. It’s a hard situation to be in for a defense.

I’m happy with the fact that Joe Burrow was able to remain upright on a bad calf. It wasn’t a pretty game by any means, because neither team was able to establish any running game. The Rams had a great chance to tie this game, but their offense continues to be in shambles with no pass protection or any ground attack
It’s terrible how poorly managed the O-Line has been. You could name a Starting 5 of our Worst O-Lineman since 2016. Robinson, Demby, Kolone, Evans and now add Zach Thomas after tonight.

Bengals needed this game. A less than 100 percent Burrow starting the season against three great defenses, not ideal. But if history tells us anything, it's the fact that they will get better as the season goes along.
Even so, they should've sat Burrow for Week 1 against the Browns. They were gonna lose either way, and that would've been 1 extra week of recovery for Burrow.

i believe burrow's calf injury is a lingering effect of the operation on his knee during his rookie season, where he tore 3 ligaments. Someone can correct me if i wrong but i think it happened on the same leg. He was wearing a sleeve even before he aggravated during the summer, that meant that calf has been a nagging issue.

I just find it hilarious the Bengal fans calling this a revenge game. How so? This game will be forgotten as time goes by, but our SB win will be remembered forever and will stand the test of time. Plus, we had 2 touchdowns called back. The TuTu TD was debatable (even though it still looked his foot was in) and the wide open TD by Higbee called back when the Cincy coach called a time out AFTER the ball was snapped because they had a bad defensive play called up was BS as well. great gameplan by the Bengals to protect Burrow throughout the game and great job on the offence and the playmakers for stepping up this game. They sure are at an interesting point starting 0-2 and wanting to get into the win column with a quarterback who's not at 100 percent. To speak to the Rams and the entire NFC West, good golly as a Seahawks fan, this division is always super competitive and I appreciate so much the caliber of coaching these 'worse' teams have and always making the games interesting and fun to watch until the end.
Can someone explain to me what are The Rams doing? Near the end of 3rd quarter they were on a 3rd and 2. Stafford throws a pass, they get over 10 yards but play called back because of a face-mask. So now their back on 3rd down and 16 and they run only to get 3 yards. Why are you running on a 3rd and 16?!?! I often seriously think this game is rigged. Also, they put horrible pressure on Burrow.
Normally on those long yardage 3rd downs and they run it’s kinda a “give up” play, they’ll never say it but they’re not confident that they’ll get it so they’ll just do a run to get a play
This was the play that had me turn the game unprecedented, and we gave up. These close games to us fans think we're going to be competitive and moral victories is bogus. Still believe we're looking to get a top player in the 2024 draft.
