I remember riding a few seats behind him on a flight to Miami. He was with his family and he alternated between reading a script and pacing first class with his baby. You could just feel the kindheartedness of this man.

Damon has been working with gay people in the industry for decades now - including, I might add, director Gus Van Sant, who directed Good Will Hunting - Damon's breakout hit that made him a name. Whatever was said, I highly doubt there was genuine animus behind it. Damon's too smart for that.

@@lewstone5430 well the most obvious part is the interview hair compared to past pictures (they showed during interview) but before that I noticed how dense and fuzzy the point in middle of forehead was....it’s a stretch

My family has enjoyed Matt's acting for years. My favorite movie is The Martian. My dad got to be an extra in the convention scene in Jason Bourne, and he was pretty close to Matt, so he always calls him "my buddy Matt" now whenever he refers to him. I can't wait to check out Stillwater in theaters!

Honestly, I am surprised by this movie. The trailer does not tell much. I said, I'll just wait until it's online or in the library. But, Stillwater is a great movie. Don't get me wrong, I like Matt Damon. Never miss any of his movies. Stillwater has a lot to offer: the relationships, individuality, love, and the other side of a famous city. It has a great cast too. Camille, Abigail and Lilou play their parts so well.

Imho, it’s awesome, in this day and age of entitlement, he is known for his hard work ethic, nothing taken for granted. Supposedly he out works everyone. He’s a great role model. It’s nice he’s hopefully passing down that integrity to the next generation. Hopefully his children will inherit that and pass it on as well.

I would say the Jason Bourne movies is what Matt Damon best known for. Perhaps one could argue Good Will Hunting is the film with his best performance, but I don’t know if I’d say that’s what comes to mind for most people. But I guess since he won an Academy Award for Good Will Hunting, that is what he’s best known for.
