In the hs jrotc we would earn an e2 if we enlisted within 5 years after HS if we did 4 years of jrotc. Unless it was the marines. They were special and only got e1 if we joined them.
what is agr? I'm a civilian
@@Crazyman23 There's actually a reason for the separation. But due to the rcs, they've been around since 1790 nonstop. Navy had almost a decade where they didn't exist.
“My god I have so much thalassophobia”
Coast Guard: “What the duck is thalassophobia? Is it fear of jumping on submarines? If so I don’t have that I do that pretty much on a daily bases”
Fear of the ocean for those wondering
My Uncle was in The US Coast Guard. Much Respect for ALL They Do!
never ever underestimate the coast guard
I didn't know that was coastguard on that narco sub 👌👍
Yea it was MSRT or smth
I like to join in on the mutual dissing of the branches, but I can't really shittalk coasties too much, those guys are going around the clock, I know cause I worked next to a pier they effectively managed, and everything from oil spills to suspicious objects in the water, they were the ones to get the job done
The coast guard does all the cool side missions.
Reguardless 😁😁
Uncle Sam's canoe club!
Great people doing great work, thankful for all of them. Some of the best Precision Rifle work out of ANY branch of our military is done by our Coast Guard.
Coasties are an entirely different breed of batshit crazy and I respect the hell out of em
Who else is out here fighting real life pirates lol they got my respect and I’m a army vet ! Not to mention the courage, dedication and pure balls of steel that rescue swimmers have!
Coast Guard is legendary like any other branch, very expeditionary
The Coast Guard provides everyday service and have to fight in every war. Also it's America's oldest force. I think it comes from the fact they are under homeland security and not the DoD so they are seen by Americans as basically Water Police or Aqua FBI and not real "military" 🤨 or seen as mini navy. Big ups to You for giving the CG some love man appreciate you ❤
army is the oldest branch, not the coasties.
not sure if you meant oldest continually serving maritime force or not
@@herculesc130. I’m sure he meant the oldest maritime service/branch
@@yqpe2907 navy is still older lol
@@herculesc130. but it’s not
