    I got a band 7 in speaking earlier this year. After that I took another one just a few days ago and this time I feel pretty positive about my band score In speaking as I replied every question the examiner threw at me without any pauses and in sentences there were instances where the examiner was stopping me still I finished my sentence and jumped into another answer. There were times when I corrected myself and we both smiled.

    • @EnglishSpeakingSuccess
      @EnglishSpeakingSuccess  Pƙed 4 lety +2

      There are several differences, but the main one is that 'you should' is a suggestion, and 'you must' is a necessity. So, I often use 'you should' to give advice to students, and 'you must' to tell students about rules that have to be followed.

    • @emyeman4575
      @emyeman4575 Pƙed 4 lety

      IELTS Speaking Success ... thank you so much 😍 I conclude that “ must” more powerful or necessity than “ should” .
      For example.. Jone has a broken leg . He “ must, should “ go to hospital .
      Which one is correct ?đŸ€”
      I think “ must “ is right , isn’t it??
      I know there is no rule he must follow in his situation but he is in a serious situation .. what’s your opinion đŸ€”??

      Sure, there will be more topics in the coming weeks, months Amany. At the same time, why don't you try recording yourself when speaking, then listen back and notice your hesitations (you can even count them). Then repeat and just focus on reducing the hesitations, nothing else, only focus on that.
      There is so much going on when we speak, so when practicing, it is often a good idea to focus on one thing at a time. Have a go.
