First time i saw SNOT they opened for Korn with HWP and Manhole maybe even SOAD was there epic times Lynn was rocking SRH gear way back too !! i say the radio song would of been Joyride
That’s fair to not classify them as nu metal technically, but they definitely were influential for nu metal bands that later hit the scene. Regardless, they were definitely one of the most talented bands from that scene and it really sucks that Lynn Strait and Dobbs died so young.
My band opened for snot in Long Beach ca on the last reunion run…..even though it wasn’t the same without Lynn they still put on a good show and did the song justice
Honestly bro u can’t compare any band to snot they were so original…. I always called them the perfect blend of punk and metal with a little funk throw. In There too…. You are right this is the sound of California in the late 90s.

Yes snot. My balls was my introduction to this band. Also still my favorite song.
I Agree, somehow they weren't exactely nu-metal band. So I'll go with the Cali sound you mentioned. Great episode. Always enjoy your nu-files.

Snot was cool, but I'd still really like to see an episode about AMEN, they shared a lot of members after Lynn Strait died after all
