Genuine question - can someone please explain why every Chun player (Moke, Sako, Valmaster), when the opponent is in burn out, doesn’t continue the pressure aggressively? Here, Kimberly was in burn out and Chun stayed back and poke. Whereas when Chun’s in burn out, Kimberly continued the pressure by repeating the same moves? Is it coz Chun can’t do that? It was so frustrating watching Kimberly repeating her moves but even more frustrating watching Chun letting her opponent replenish her gauge.
Could be because even when the opponent is in burnout they prefer to play footsies? Chun li excels at long range pokes and punishing, so I guess they just have to pressure the opponent without ever really engaging? Idk I don't play chun so I couldn't say

Because Chun Li normals and specials suck…
Her lights are too short range, her mids pushes her backwards, her heavys have long recovery…
Her specials also suck, her lightings kicks are not safe on block, her mid Hazanchu is safe on block but take long start up.
It’s hard to do loop pressure with her.

kimberly has to play this matchup like she is fighting for her life. Chun's crouching m. kick is god like, what a button.
Surini has to force mistakes with her gimmicks, because Kim is more likely going to get beat in neutral and forced to the corner.
Also Lashar's reads are god like or he has a pretty good idea about how surini plays. Blocked so many quick overheads.

@@dylanthatsit390 50% of their offense is grab, and if you're in the corner, the other 50% is shimmy 🤣 I literally just hit a low anytime I'm in the corner against a Kim main and it works wayyyy too often.
@@DrSwazz Fast walk speed. Start with grabs and start shimmy, to blow up delay techs.
@@richr161 Yeah but it's kinda easy to get in their heads (assuming the Kim isn't legend rank lol). They'll grab first, then know you're delay teching and will prob shimmy. If I know you're always gonna be grabbing or blocking on wakeup I don't have to worry about eating much damage. Catch you with a low and go to work 🤷♂

The only thing I genuinely find annoying about Kimberly is her level 3 music gets priority over every song, and continues to play till the end of the set. I personally don't like it.
