Yo, we play on the same server. I’m Retributionn, number 6 in realm, and ur like number 4 or 3 right now or something.
My single target is straight booty cheeks, energy starved like a mofo. Hard time generating common points to keep up AR in single. I spam blade furry even in single, and I think that’s wrong. I do it because it’s cheaper.
Question is, how punishing is it if you use finisher at low combo points. Also, how punishing is it to use blade fury in single (when buff is already active). And what are the single target mistakes you catch your self making.
People don’t respect how punishing this class is if you die, or mess up rotation.
Long answer - It depends, using Between The Eyes (BtE) at low CP only when the stealth window is about to expire. (~1 second) is ideal.
Blade flurry (BF) is situational as well, the intital hit can reach target further than Outlaw's melee range (even with 3 yards increase) and if you have 5 CPs, you can use BF for extra CP (6 CPs in total) to finish.
I sometimes catch myself making silly mistake like using stealth/shadow dance when my BtE is on CD which isn't the best but it serves another purpose. That is to sustain the adrenaline rush (AR) buff for as long as I can.
So in other words, it's very punishing & heavy RNG class.
Short answer - extremely challenging class for starters or people who don't know much about rogues
@@OfficialFrostyNightz i'm 2970, last season 3100, and i'm not sure if it is the dung's making it harder to keep up AR, or if i'm playing fine, just getting smacked around by ret pally's. like vault is supposed to be an easy key, but for me it's hard because of all the stupid bs that takes you out of stealth jumping from platform to platform, or run outs on bosses. neth and offensive are supposed to be hard, but they're my favorite because AR can stay up pretty well. I rarely top dps single target, and if I do it's first boss on ruby, or first on AA. Bunch of ads to generate combo on. But second boss on ruby, depending on tank, and baiting ad, I just spend the fight energy drained, and do like 250k on that fight or something.
How come no ambush?
Keep it Rolling build does not use ambush since it does not proc pistol shots.
