Pocono Palace closed and abandoned we stayed at Pocono Palace the last day they were open. halfway through the video i got several clips that show what it looks like kind of abandon. Pocono Palace closes its doors for good. we stayed in the fantasy apple room one last time. eating the last meal at Pocono palace on May 1st 2024

Next will be Cove Haven and then Paradise Stream the new owner don't care about the properties like the original owners did yeah he put a little money into them but you could see the shape of the grounds in the shape of the place they really don't care about them I've been going to all of them since the 1980s I loved Pocono Palace
Let’s hope that don’t happen, I have a new group on Facebook doing our best to help keep the resorts busy. “Fans of Cove Haven” if you want to check it out. You don’t know you have the right group if the front page is a picture of the main building kind of at night with a deer standing in front of it.
So sad. Glad we went two years ago and stayed at the Fantasy Apple. Wonder if they're leaving everything behind?
Yes, it was sold intact everything stayed for the most part, but it will not be a couples resort any more
I just found out tonight that Pocono Palace was permanently closing. I immediately came over to your youtube page to tell you in case you didn't know but sure enough you were able to be here the last day! I am so sad! I hope they bring the golf carts for the guests to ride in over to Cove Haven! That is my husband and I favorite thing to do is drive around the property in one of them. Any update what will be done to the property? I hope Cove Haven and Paradise Stream does not follow suit :(. I mean they spent all that money on updates etc it is odd.
Yes, it’s very sad that it closed. They did bring golf carts to Paradise Stream however they won’t be going to Cove Haven because the hill is just too dangerous. And for some reason, it slips my mind as to who you are obviously you know me from somewhere because you came over here to let me know about this and your CZcams name is not giving it away , lol are you a member of the fans of Cove Haven Facebook group? we also hope the other two do not follow suit at this point it doesn’t seem that that would be the case.
@@shanesmaineshop Oh I am just someone who enjoys watching all your videos of all the Pocono/Cove properties. I never met you there personally. When I think of all my memories I've had at these resorts at least I have your videos to watch to remember them. Like a time capsule of history. How was it that you were able to stay the last night there...did they let you know they were closing weeks in advance?
@@Babs11285 yes there was an announcement a few months earlier on their Facebook page. So I immediately booked that trip after I left there, I went over to Cove Haven for the weekend.

Thank you so much for documenting your stay - really a shame to see it close - Any word from the staff about what will become of the place? I wonder if there’s any chance that the new owners will continue to operate the resort instead of bulldozing it down
Some of the staff is going to the stream and will continue to work for Cove Pocono Resorts. The property was sold to a company that is going to make it into some kind of spiritual wellness center. So, it will not continue as a couple's resort. I don't know that they are going to bulldoze it but I am sure they will make some changes.
