  • In this video I explain some of the equipment that is available for lifting and carrying mobility scooters and power wheelchairs in and on vehicles. I explain some key things to look for in both your vehicle and mobility device if you already have something in mind to purchase to help lift or load your mobility device into a vehicle, hopefully this video will help you save time and money so you don't make the wrong purchase.

the most honest video yet. thank you. ramps heavy. ambulatory wheelchair users need to be able to do it alone. At 69 it's not a time for me to start driving with a thing on the back of my car which also takes away my back up camera. I need to leave the house. I have a 40 pound expensive wheelchair and it needs to be quick in and out or I won't use it. thanks for honesty. subscribed. it seems you best understand the issues. Tired of able bodied men demonstrating saying "simple" easy etc. while they are lifting and bending. thanks

You are correct, mobility products should make your life easier. There are wayyyy too many of these Mobility Stores with fit and healthy people demonstrating how easy and light weight their products are. Try doing it day in day out in 120 deg sunshine, you'll do one of two things: give up doing it or hurt yourself.
As for back-up cameras on vehicles Harmar (not sure when it will be released) are making a back-up camera adaptor for their outside lifts so you don't have to lose that feature which is a thumbs up from me and will be doing a video on it as soon as I get an order for one to be installed.

I am a shop supervisor for a DME / HME dealer. Have you had issues with AL6000? I've used harmar for years and have never had the troubles I'm having now.

To be honest we've only installed the one and I've heard nothing back from the customer. Have you reached out to Harmar?
