This machine had a seized drum because of bad bearings.
    Only 5 years old
It wouldn't drain because of a damaged filter plug and a sock stuck inside the drain pipe.
Come with me as I try to repair it.

i'd say, this washer is in excellent condition with the knob as an apollo smoke detector 10/10

Those bearings are exactly like my old indesit were when I first got it

the bearings will cost around £25 and will take a few hours out of your day, all goes well you could sell the machine for around £80 on marketplace quite easily, so i'd say its worth repairing i've done 7 maybe 8 of these hotpoint/indesit/whirlpools with sealed tanks.

I can't see that it is worth it based on your numbers. I reckon at least 4 hours to do a repair and you have to allow for sealant too, which costs too. I couldn't sell a repaired machine with a sealed tub, I would use it myself, or give it away, but not sell.

sounds just like my WMFUG942P - sounds chaotic. but repairmen came out told me bearings are fine and its normal. you have the 7kg version. the bearings dont sound great but they work as every day machines. mine is still going strong... id keep the belt / parts these machines are coming around alot and if u find one in good condtion its worth keep for the parts.. my 9kg version is rusty at bottom of front panel? hows ur look. id take the front panel so mine wouldnt be rusty lol.. But yeah dont be fooled by the so called bearings sound etc. could be bad belt wine and a new belt would be better

If you brick it and the drum seizes, let it smoke the belt, that is always a perfect sendoff for these plastic junk machines

Any washer excluding LG, Samsung and Bosch isn’t worth repairing, those mentioned have a split outer tub so they can be done, all others throw away when bearings have gone
