  • It ain’t for everyone but if you can deal with some heavy lifting and you’re ok with working overnights…cap 3 is where it’s at…as the kids say “NO 🧢” ( Did I use that right? LOL) Enjoy this short video as I take you around with me doing some overnight stocking in Walmarts Lawn & Garden Center for the very first time today. On normal days I usually push GM but today I got asked to work freight in Lawn & Garden. Wasn’t too bad, just hot for the most part and the bugs…ALOT OF BUGS. Waterbugs…Ants & Moths flying throughout parts of the section.. Once I got over the heat & bugs, I was in my zone! I had a total of three pallets, two of which were extremely light & the third of grills, stove tops, charcoal, etc. Some may think my work ethic is pretty insane; cleaning up after folks? Taking time to fix stocking isues within aisles that I didn’t create? I REFUSE to be like the rest. To all my hardworkers out there contuing to give it there all, do things others arent willing to do; even without ever hearing a thank you…THANK YOU! Cheers to another day in the books as a cap 3 associate! Thanks so much for watching. Peace & Love✌🏿

This was such a great vlog, thanks for the pov of what it’s like to be an overnight stocker. I agree if everyone would just “take care of their stuff” it would definitely help the next person. Sadly, each day humans lose more & more humanity. Great job 🎉

Do you just put a piece of clear boxing tape over the slit in the birdfeed and hope it sells? Or does it go to the discount rack?

Hey, so I’m actually not sure what in fact Walmart does with opened/damaged packages. I just send it to the back and my coach takes it from there. I know when I worked at Family Dollar, if a package was accidentally sliced open, using the birdseed bag in this case, I would put it on clearance shelf. For broken /unsellable items; we would simply code it out as ‘broken or damaged’ & throw it out. As soon as I find out a definite answer I will update you because I’m curious too. Thanks for watching :)

@@akxngsjourney That would be a horrible waste if tossed out. I would think someone would still buy it as long as the seed isn't spilling out.

@@xIntoThePitxfor sure it would & for some reason I’m leaning to believe that Walmart may just throw it out depending on the value of the item. So they’d never throw out a TV after someone stole the remote that came with it but a bag of opened bird seeds sadly would get tossed in the trash (I know that’s apples to oranges but you get what I mean here lol) & Now that you mention it…I don’t think I’ve seen any clearance sections throughout the store. Hmm I’ll have to inquire about those.

I work in Lawn & Garden at a store. It depends on size of hole and how much product is lost. If we can patch it without losing too much product we CVP it down. If the hole is too big and not patchable or too much product lost we have to throw it away. Hope this helps!
