Many of you wanted to know what my CZcams Setup looks like and what I use.
Great video Vitally even for us with no much of interest for CZcams creations but at least for the "How too". Thanks a lot!
Awesome..very informative
Excellent, very helpful
Glad it was helpful!
@@TouchLifeStudio Do you think the microphone would work well as a singer with acoustic guitar for video purposes? Using a Z9 here as well. I have other microphones but want something out of the frame as you've done in your setup. Thanks again, such a helpful video for me
@@drabbag I’m not a musician but I would say that Synco D2 would work well for a musical instrument but I’m not sure if it would pick up all ranges for vocals. I suggest that you look up the specs for the mic. This mic is great for interviews, voice overs, that I known.
Well put video. you should have a CZcamsr’s Nikon setup videos in the title or a a seperate videos
Seeking advice if you ever do similar setups to me. I currently have a Z7ii (Z9 (or 8) on the long term list) and recently added 24-70 2.8 to my f/4 version. Do you ever use a gimbal? I can balance my camera/body setup on the gimbal, but struggle to do so if I combine to 2.8 with a shot-gun mic on top of camera. Perhaps I should mount the mic to the gimbal handle itself. Ideally I’d like to have the camera, 2.8 and mic on top - perhaps I’m asking too much, but my gimbal payload (DJI RSC 2) should cope with this. I find when setting the tilt balance the mic fouls the gimbal arm when checking balance vertically, and I then don’t resolve overall balance. Perhaps I need to just persevere. Thanks for your recent Z9 for weddings video - I’m looking to get into this sphere and it confirmed all my choices on list. 70-200 next (though worry about weight), then Z9; then my other lens desires are luxuries rather than necessities!
I don’t use gimbal for my work. I can see how 24-70 2.8 could be a bit heavy and hard to balance. My friends who use gimbals, obviously for video, use primes, 24, 35 or 50 mm. Plus you get better low light performance at 1.4 or 1.8 and easy to balance and lenses are smaller. For mics, I suggest using something like wireless go as a transmitter as the receiver is light and does not add much to the gimbal at all. Just a few thought. Hope this was helpful.
@@TouchLifeStudio Yes, thanks - I have the 50 1.8 and so use for this purpose, also have radio mic/transmitter for talking head/CZcams stuff; but don’t want to mess with lapel setups in ceremonies etc, more of a directional scenario (I hope).
Will you shoot a commercial video H.265?
Yep. More latitude in post to color grade.
A question, it is difficult to sinc the sound with the video? It is an automatic or manual sinc?
Super easy. It’s automatic and syncs based on sound from both sources. Supper, super easy.
@@TouchLifeStudio using Final Cut Pro correct? I think I've used that feature in the past and I agree it makes it easy. The clap helps I'm sure
@@drabbag yes FCP.
For Z9 and Z8, ISO 400 is worse than ISO 500. If you need to set it in that range, definitely go for ISO 500.
Thanks for sharing. In have done ISO 500 but will try. Thanks for the tip.
That music..TURN IT OFF!!!! it's driving me to switch to another channel in 3 seconds.
