I Just Watched Bandits for the First Time

Next up on my journey to watch all the unwatched films in my film collection is Bandits. A 2001 comedy/crime film starring Bruce Willis, Billy Bob Thornton, and Cate Blanchett. Will this film be any good? let's find out

I am a movie person, ive probably watched 10,000 movies in my time, and this has always been one of my favorite movies. Acting, dialogue, pacing, soundtrack and the photography are all beautiful. Great watch.

Great movie, if you enjoyed it check out Matchstick Men next which is similar in style but about con artists instead of bank robbers.
Bruce Willis had a talent for comedic characters, as shown here but also in Breakfast of Champions, and in a minor role in Moonrise Kingdom.

Movie has become underrated in America but it was quite the hit overseas

ADRUBER !!! they filmed that movie here in Oregon !! There's a scene where she has a nervous breakdown on the bridge - that's the Broadway Bridge here in Portland - I used to walk across that bridge every day on my way to work !! Also there's an actor in that movie - I think he plays the bomb guy ?? or the explosives guy ? I haven't seen this movie in years - anyway - that guy is the son of a famous actress from the 70's named Jane Fonda - he's been in a lot of movies and TV shows and he's really good - I always thought it was cool that he changed his last name when he became an actor because he wanted to make it on his own - not on his famous last name -

That is so cool that you have that kind of connection to this film, that you used to walk across a bridge where they film a major Hollywood film scene like that...I love it. Also, I didn't realize that was Jane Fonda's son ( I'm pretending like I know who Jane Fonda is, I don't really. The name sounds familiar but I couldn't pick her out of a lineup)

@@adruber LOL LOL LOL - she's hella famous - and a great actress - she won two Oscars for best Actress back in the 70's - she's real old now but she's got a TV show on Netflix called Grace & Frankie - her dad was a famous actor too - Henry Fonda - the Fonda's are Hollywood Royalty - there's also Peter Fonda and Bridget Fonda - that's why I think its cool that guy changed his name
