I a new player, in fighting games in general, and my ultimate dificult is make a combo/reset, i like rushdown archertype(filia, fukua, valentine, annie, this kind of thing), but maybe is not for me ? Is a training thing or is better i try play grapplers/zoners? By the way, Parasoul is what archetype?

This is exactly how I feel about her. She’s so great visually, animations are on point, there’s so much personality. But she’s an abomination to play against LOL
It's ironic how Fukua became such a sick character... You know since she was made just to mock CAPCOM, and now look at her. She's always been one of my favorites characters. Also I prefer her voice over Filia's, she has more sass and I love the "we're gonna get you" line. (Also one of the best win poses *RUNNING AWAY* xD)

I believe in Street Fighters (don't remember which one), Capcom was gonna reveal a new fighter and people were really hype about it but it ended up being Decapre which was a pretty much a clone of Kammy with a few differences (everyone got disappointed it wasn't a new character. Like Princess Peach and Daisy on Smash Bros Ultimate)

I am so thankful you explained hype I kept reading online that Hype makes his moves better but I didn't know where his Hyper Meter was and just having ONE person thaf said each flame corresponded to a level of hype would have helped.

I just bought this game it’s my first input fighter since mk 9, thanks for the video it really helped me understand the characters strengths/weaknesses. When I first started playing I navigated too double one because she looks sick and 2 I was able to get stuff going with her easier.
I'm a literal beginner Squigly main and with a simple combo chain I found somewhere in the depths of CZcams I managed too solo and double team in quick match lmao
Painwheel is definitely inspired by MVC2 Sentiel. Flight mode being the most overpowered move the character has, using it constantly in combos to cancel recovery and for insane pressure and mixups, being able to use assists at superjump height, and cancelling recovery on projectile specials. All of that is sentinel, the funny thing is that it was all basically on accident and he was meant to be a bulky and slow brawler/tank, which is what he is in the later games where they made his flight mode useless. It’s still an interesting archetype but definitely the original is cooler, glad it made it into another game, and on a character that doesn’t totally dominate the meta (Because he wasn’t meant to be a crazy aerial rushdown/mobility character he had stuff that a character like that has no buisness having, like chip-damage on half-screen normals, 2 of the best assists in the game, enormous damage, literally twice the health of some characters, top 2 zoning, high damage, broken 1 bar super… to name a few).
Glad there are video guides like this for beginners like me. I have never played 2d fighting games only tekken so idk the general mechanics of a 2d fighting game.
Was hoping with all the new updates Parasoul's light flash kick, napalm trigger, would would be made more useful or buffed. Here's to another 10 years of forgetting that move exists.
@@GATOUATZAP Bottom 3: Big Band, Robo-Fortune, Painwheel. None of them are bad! Tier lists are almost completely redundant in Skullgirls. Characters like Big Band just have weaknesses more glaring than the rest of the cast. Big Band is basically a parry mechanic with really good assists. Instant overheads, he's constantly being lamed out, even though his damage makes up for it, his mix isn't as oppressive as characters like Filia, Fukua, Double, and Eliza. Big Band matches are WORK.

So they finally added Eliza's blood feature! 😆 Can the blood attack like they wanted to add as well? Every time there's and update I'm never unimpressed! I love the small additions they have here and there.
