This video is a detailed and easy tutorial on how to render interior design plans on Adobe Photoshop CC 2017, easy ways where you don't need the masking tool or any shenanigans, it's long so I will be posting a timestamp as the first comment!

I personally prefer sketchup, then I render in lumion, I don’t use 3Ds max although I did learn it back in Uni, I find the combination between those 2 softwares is ideal!

this is great. just wanna ask how did the image of pillow fits in the plan of the pillow? Did you just warp the picture of the pillow so that it will fit on the floor plan? thanks.
Scaling option is not working for textures
I don't understand how creating the second background made the base darker? I feel like there is something missing there... I didn't get darker lines just for making a new layer....
When you are done with creating the background layer click on edit at the top left corner and click on fill, next you will see contents , select color and choose white. 😁

After i have selected my walls and then i want to colour it black as you did un the tutuortial mine wont allow me to, it shows a no entry sign.
Hey!
Check if your base layer is selected, and the lines are closed. Also, check if the new layer is locked, cause if it is it won’t allow you to select or fill. If all else fails, it might be a bug in the software so maybe open a new file and import your file again! Let me know how it goes, good luck!

Guys, if you are right out of college, the base pay should be for any interior Design job is $35 per hour. Even if you aren’t going to take the job, just ask for $40 and $50. That way we can raise the salary for the whole industry.
