The most outstanding interpretation i've ever heard! Maybe even Franck himself didn't play this so beautiful, majestic and natural. This is the only way how to play this music in my opinion. j'ai fait ma communion solennelle en 1954 dans la basilique Ste Clotilde, c'était Jean Langlais le titulaire... le choc émotionnel que m'avait créé ce fabuleux instrument a déterminé ma vocation d'organiste tardive ensuite...( à St Omer). j'ai eu mon prix à Calais sur le magnifique instrument Cavaillé Cohl qu'il y avait là, habitant dans le Pas de Calais ... les chorals de César Franck m'ont toujours immensément émue, mais l'interprétation du titulaire actuel Olivier Penin m'a encore procuré tellement d'émotions... merci de tout coeur pour votre sublime interprétation !
