@Martyupnorth I think it would be an interesting topic for us locals (I'm in Edmonton). On those same lines, I'm not sure if you have read it, but there is a great book written by Rob Kaye called Born to the Wild. He is a retired PC warden who worked for decades in JNP. So he tells stories from the 50s on to when he retired. It's a nice read and you will appreciate the content. Very insightful and entertaining. I found it at Chapters. Thought I would suggest it to you in case you weren't aware of it! Martin

I did a long hike in white goat last year... The trail was pretty much nothing. Hope it works out for you
