- If you’ve ever wrenched on a bike in your bedroom- you can relate to the pain of Minnesota chopper builders. But the shorter the riding season, the longer the building season and the better the bikes become.
On a hot day in the middle of July- the upper midwest scene gets together in St. Paul to show off what they’ve been working on. This is the Full Tilt Boogie. Bikes, vans, music and good times abound. Tons of vintage Harley-Davidsons like Panheads, Knuckleheads, Shovelheads, and Ironheads make an appearance.
We got the chance to interview Bobby Good Times about his Knucklehead survivor chopper known as Blow Dozer. Kevin “Teach” Baas is a legend in the Minnesota custom vintage motorcycle scene. He talked with us about his 1939 Knucklehead and his chopper class for high schoolers. Devin Millett made a killer hardtailed Sportster chopper using a Throttle Addiction hardtail kit. Zac Doom gives us a tour of his van, talks about the founding of the show and why he started Heavy Clothing. Seth from Throttle Addiction gives us a rundown on the War Horse, a classy Evo Big Twin chopper that they built then gave away. In addition to these interviews there are tons of great choppers, bobbers and we filmed and even some vans! Enjoy!

There are some bruisin' bikes here. Bobby Good Times' Knuck is wild. Those lace paint patterns take me waaaay back! Bobby, I just shake my head at rigid forks! You've gotta have some suspension -- especially if you want to ride the bike any considerable distance. I live in Cleveland, OH, so I know all about bad roads. ChopCult for planet Earth and beyond! This is the kinda stuff I like. I've been a chopper guy 48 years now. Just nothing like else like them. Just reminds me of my younger days riding in the 70s. What great times I've had on a long machine. I feel funny on a regular bike. But they are a hellave a lot more comfortable then the hardtail. I ride a custom American Iron horse chopper with twin shocks so it looks cool 😎. But rides decent. Keep up the great videos guys. Yes I subscribed to the channel Brothers. Be safe and get them miles in Brothers and sisters.

"Nothing" is as depressing as bike news where they cameraman and/clipper doesn't understand how to show a bike correctly.. Like filming a beauty queen only from a few very strange angles..

What's with everybody and the Survivor shit?! We're in 2024 now and the time just did not stop back then. Seems riding is taking the back seat in this biz, ol' school and survivor balbalblaaa is getting to me. Aren't there any people living in the present?
