I'm so glad you made this video! I am so frustrated and fed up of people using their bunnies for views. There's a difference between creating videos to educate people and using them to create videos to make money and sales. I have a dog back home and i take my rabbit home but seperate them because i am in no way ok with prey and predators being together. I wish there was more we could do and people were more open to listening and learning. I see so many people saying i want to get a puppy/kitten, will my rabbit be ok? I say love and appreciate the animal you have and don't risk their safety or happiness because you want another animal. I'd love to have all the animals but would never even think about it and put my Bloom at risk!

"I am a straight man who unexpectedly acquired a bunny. My son had to move to a place where pets are not allowed, so he asked me to take care of his bunny. I agreed, and now I have had the bunny for two weeks. I don't really know much about rabbits, so I am learning about them now. I take care of people for a living, so of course, I love taking care of animals. I just haven't had a pet in many years because I used to travel too much for my previous profession. I had to give my dog to a friend because it just wasn't fair to the dog. It really bothered me for a long time.
Anyway, this little English Spot bunny is one and a half years old, and I think he is absolutely adorable. I love all animals, so of course, a little fuzzy rabbit is hard to say no to. I do not believe that having a bunny is unmanly. That's ridiculous. However, if it were a little Pomeranian with a pink bow on its head, that would be a different story. Haha!"

I have cats and bunnies, but the bun room(12x15' room) is for the bunnies. I never leave them unattended together. How they "play" together? The cat will lay in the middle of the room and the bunnies will bink around him. My cat will just lay there and watch them. I leave the room, the cats know to leave as well. I have caught my oldest cat a few times sitting on my desk and just slow blinking(how cats say I love you) at the buns. But if I say "Time to go" he knows he has to leave the room.

I agree with you! There are a lot of people who think they could do whatever they want to animals in general for views ND "ENTERTAINMENT" but it is simply a lie. They are hurting not just the animals themselves, but the image of mankind as have rule over animals but rule over them as in being their protectors and not exploiting them for self-righteous gain.

That is interesting. 1st video: Even without a leash, and other issues aside, a rabbit would still prefer to stick close to the person they know. Even though the outside world is full of danger, you could see the rabbit was happy. Does the person have a well rehearsed strategy for moments of extreme danger?

there's only one man with a bunny that I follow on tiktok/IG and it's the guy from the UK who rescued a dumped lion head bunny. His video where he updated what happened after he rescued the bun was what got me following his journey.
Also that 1st vid although cute that he "walks" his bun, it completely stressed me out as someone with a white bun also I kept thinking 'this is so dangerous for that bun'.

I have 8 pets, 4 rabbits (Not fully free roam, brothers, neutered, but they have their own large areas indoors where they get *TONS* of love and hay!! And snacks and veggies/fruits that they can have every so often, veggies basically daily!) I have a German Shepherd and a Blue heeler, of course, they are very protective and bigger than our 2 rex and 2 lionhead rabbits, (mixed breeds, they were an accident between me and a friend's rabbit when we were a little younger, but of course parents were separated and we kept 4/6 babies, the females were given away to loving families!!) Our dogs, though bigger and stronger and somewhat hunter dogs, have never had any negative reaction towards our rabbits, neither have the rabbits towards our dogs! Without you, their life would not be how it is today. They're all healthy and quite domesticated to human touch and interaction, which I never expected to be considering I live in a family of 5 with 2 guinea pigs and 2 dogs other than my rabbits. (Yes our rabbits and guinea pigs are separated into different areas in the house, rabbits are together in their areas, guinea pigs are in their own little free *LARGE* cage they run and chill in!!)

When I had my bunny, I also had three dogs. Two labradoodles and a elderly Yorkie, and the Yorkie never approached my bunny. One of my doodles was protective over the bun and never let the other animals near him but she never approached the bun or bothered him. I believe it was because she has had puppies and that motherly instinct never left? We will never know, but my second doodle was infatuated with my bunny so I always had to keep an eye on him because he had the tendency to try to paw at my rabbit while I let him out into the living room.
I don’t believe he would’ve tried to hurt my rabbit, I never left them alone together. My bun had a blocked off portion of the house where dogs couldn’t get in and things worked out. After my bun passed, my protective mama dog got depressed for a short time but she is doing better now and so are the other two dogs. I hope someday to adopt another rabbit but time will tell ❤

  • @StarryKitsuKat

My bunny follows me outside the yard and does listen when i call (sometimes he ignores to smell the flowers lol) but i wouldn't take him free roaming on streets or neighborhood where a loose dog can come from a random house. Gotta be very careful. As for the cat and bunny, I've seen many coexist and groom each other but i wouldn't leave them alone together. Then the kid with the tractor and animals, they do seem calm enough but yeah they can get scared of the bumby road and dart away and get hurt so they gotta be careful as well, maybe have the kid drive in a flat surface and not have the dog around the bunnies. For breeders, i just hope they care well for those rabbits at least, have them in clean environments but i always support looking to adopt first of all before even thinking of buying. I understand theres not many bunny rescues in many countries tho which is sad, its always just dog rescues (even in the US, they hardly mention other animal rescues).

Just wanted to say that I really think you've improved as a content creator and educator. Being completely honest I never used to be the biggest fan because I sometimes found you to be narrow minded and way too harsh and direct with some of the comments and feedback you gave. I feel like you really are a lot more open minded and respectful how you approach things you disagree with now. It's a lot easier to listen and agree with you these days, and I do find myself watching so many more videos of yours.
Keep up the growth and the good work! It's great having a wonderful bunny educator out there! 🐰❤️
