Agility training is a really good way to stimulate, exercise and bond with your bunny. All bunnies are capable of agility training. I bet Lennon has a trick or two that will surprise you!

I’m soooo happy to say I finally convinced my mom to let us free roam our bunny. We adopted her almost 6 months ago. We were told we had to buy a cage when adopting her so we turned it into the litter box and took the wires completely off and into the garbage. Her water tray and food is in another area with a hay rack connected to her hide out and a water dish. She gets spoiled with treats and toys. Your videos helped me convince my stepdad who in turn convinced my mom. Ty so much. Ps her name is Nala she’s a baby lion head. Sassy but sweet.

Love your videos @Lorelei. The pool video is true! Same thing happened in the pool at our apt complex! Maintenance man knew I was the only renter with a bunny so he gave me the only baby that survived. He told me for several weeks he’d find babies getting stuck in that thing and drown. He still couldn’t figure out why the babies get in the pool. We kept the baby for a day, dried it and made sure it wasn’t hurt. We left it at a park near by.

I was a little hesitant to click on this, but I also always enjoy your videos. I had to put my bunny down this weekend, and the pain is still fresh.
Your content inspired me to be a better bunny parent since 2016.
Strangely I liked the pool one cause it was heartwarming.

i lost my 2 10-year-old bucks (Karl & Popeye) just a month apart from old age. Leaving their 8-year-old buck buddy lonely. it's never easy to let them go or say goodbye. But what matters is you did right by them in life, and in death when your forced to put them down because their suffering.
A year later Freddy still misses his friends, but i brought 3 of my younger buns around so he can talk to other buns. my 2 5-month-old jills and my 6- 1/2 yr old gelding Easter. Easter is the grandson of Popeye. He grew up around them, after his mom died leaving him an orphan, I bottled raised him. And would pen him up with his grandpa so he would learn how to be a bunny. Easter isn't a fan of Freddy, but as Freddy was never gelded, he can't be left alone with the girls. We're pretty sure he's sterile, but we don't want to take the risk. He has to wear a .cloth diaper when running with them. XD 😂😂 He's not amused, but we are. 🤣🤣

Bunnys are AMAZING climbers, that why i even got a small wooden cattree- they love to jump and climb up and have a better look over everything.
They do not wanna escape in my case, they just love to lay on high grounds.
My Buns even fetched, do tricks on command and if i call clean, they start putting toys in their basket - doesnt work every time because buns are more like cats if they arent interestet rn, but most of the time its fun for them :D

I'm not surprised about the climbing bunny because when Goliath used to get real excited that a treat was coming, he'd climb the side of his habitat just like it was a ladder. Then he figured out that he could just take a running leap and stick his legs through the side and hang on that way. They're little comedians!

I've been trying to convince my mom for 3 years to let me get a bunny!! i finally tried something new. I wrote a 4 and a half page essay on why she should let me! Praying that it works!!!
In 1980 my first rabbit was called velvet, we didn't know at the time to spay her, so she was rather hormonal, kept on nesting , and was aggressive some times, so we planned her to mate, 3months later in 1982 she had 4 kittens two white albinos and two black ones, she was very docile after that , next door neighbours grand daughter had one white kitten , and two black one went to the lady who we got velvet from , we kept rhe remaining white one, unfortunately velvet passed away with a cold , the white one we called twiglet lived for 9 years

The one that climbed the screen..... I could see one of my bunnies doing that. She's our little terror. She gets herself in all sorts of weird situations so our house is basically bunny and baby proofed 😂😅She's given me so very many heart attacks. She doesnt try to escape our house but she loves to explore so we have to really keep up the entertainment ❤ her favorite is movies and video games (not kidding its hilarious i swear She's really a human)

I loved my rabbit, she was my first best friend. I used to pet her so much she would kick out and fall asleep on me on a regular basis. She was so soft fluffy and cute and her fur was so clean and lovely. I used to kiss her ears and stroke the side of her face and just loved it. She once jumped up and licked the tears off my face when I was sad. She also used to feed out my fingers. My second bunny was so beautiful her fur was like silk, but she was feisty and aggressive. Feisty but cute, her eyes were like gemstones all glistening and pretty. But she died aged only 3 because the place I was staying didn't want to lend me the money to get an emergency vet!!!! ) :

Hi Lorelei. It’s just amazing how your channel evolved over the years. I watched you 6 yrs ago when I use to have a bunny name Henny. I sadly had to re-home her in Oct 2020 when I became very ill for 8 mos & couldn’t care for her properly. That was my first bunny & will be my last.

I enjoy your videos Lorelei & Lennon. Not gonna lie I'm a male and this one gave me mixed emotions. The one you made with Lennon is spot on. When Lady Cottontail hopped into our life (literally onto our property Sept. 07, 2022) I took a crash course in learning All things bunny. I thought I did a good job in bunny-proofing but I did not.
The bunny managed to chew many and I mean many Apple cellphone cords (not mine) until we invested in braided aluminum-covered Apple cellphone charging cords (Amazon sells them if anyone is interested.
This fixed the issue. Lady Cottontail has no more interest in chewing these dangling what looks like "Roots" to her. Apparently, they were in Her way, her path you know between a Lazyboy chair and a small table LOL (We know who runs this castle)
I think maybe it's instinct for bunnies to keep their path or bunny hole, tidy of all roots dangling in case they need to make a quick getaway from predators chasing them. They can't have debris and roots slapping them in their face as they run, hop with quick speed. It's my theory.
Thanks to your video teachings and deep research we have one healthy, very happy bunny rabbit named Lady Cottontail who loves to entertain me with her beautiful binky's that resemble an old-school breakdance in the air. She is very loved, and spoiled, and eats only organic hay, organic pellets (Sherwood) fruits, and veges.
She has small toys (dog toys) she loves to play with and groom, plenty of puzzles for her mind, a scavenger rug, and a ball she plays with. I have set down beautiful carpet runners in the kitchen area and laundry room so she doesn't slip. She is a free roam bunny and has access to all parts of our home except our bedroom and bathroom. She has no business in there and those areas are not bunny-proofed.
She has her own secluded space in the office where she can play micro-manager if she wants. I built her what I call a Rolls Royce which is a hay feeder/bed that has a plastic bin 20x28x6 insert. The bin is used to mix cement etc. I added decorative trim to it. No paint or stain, no chems, all wood with the exception of the hinges on top of the hay feeder.
I love her and she loves me/us. I never knew how affectionate and intelligent they really are, but they are. She comes to me when I call her name "Cottontail" like a little dog, every time.
Our castle is filled with daily laughter because of her and Lil Amanda the guinea pig that entered our life the same way, by finding their way to me and our property. I say me because God knows my soft heart when it comes to little critters. I can't turn them away. It's in my DNA to help the helpless, scared, hungry, and thirsty fur babies that come to me.
I believe they were both guided by divine intervention. I don't see it as a coincidence. We live in the suburbs of the Bay Area. There are no animals running around. No dogs, just squirrels, birds, and an occasional cat escapee but no strays, yet both a young bunny and a young guinea pig find their way to me on separate occasions?
It's not family, friends, or neighbors dumping them in our yard. We don't know anyone who would be that cruel. These are gifts and are now part of our family. It's Love.

(If your even reading this) I kept him in a cage when I got him when I was 11 years old and about a year after owning him, I watched some of your videos, and decided to get a x-pen and now he sleeps with me every night! I can’t have him free roamed because I have 3 cats but I’m so glad I have him with a giant x-pen and tons of toys! 😊
Never underestimate your bunny can do. They will always workout how they will get what they want.
Take my Pixie. At the moment she's not permitted into the 2 bedrooms due to the work I'm doing there. She worked out a way to get in from the outside. She climbed up to the bathroom window and made her way through there. She was so proud of herself and her success.
She can't do it now, as I blocked her path.
Speaking of escapes, I saw the owner of a lstyle rabbit that was subject to the escaping of her money. The owner in question did not disclose how the bunny escaped, but showed a video of the bunny protesting. The said bunny just kept stopping his for her heels on the ground and seem to be mountain back back to its owner.
The owner as well as myself, just couldn't help but to embrace the cuteness of this little cute rabbit's protest❤

I can say this with a high degree of certainty you can teach a bunny any trick (that isn’t bruit strength) you can teach a dog and after they bun gets the hang of learning they will get it faster than the dog.

Knowing people abandon bunnies is so sad.I have a one year old bunny I adopted her from a shelter but before she was in a shelter she got abandoned and found in a bag and hearing bunnies abandoned bunnies is so sad
i know This is nothing to do with bunnies but we rescued A stray female cats by the time we schedule appointment to get her fixed we found out it was really close to having babies and couple day later she had four kittens lucky for us there is people willing to adopt the kittens after they're ready to leave their mother and we're planning to keep the mother
Lorelei, wouldn't that baby cottontail be in danger of hypothermia? I love that they got it out of the pool, but wouldn't it have been better to keep control of it if they could so they could get it dry and warm before releasing it?
