I bought this product and am thoroughly pleased with it. I was using it on a curved bath screen. I really liked the original video as it was obviously done on a real bath that needed the seal replaced. It was the clarity of the video and the fact that Darren showed clearly what to do was what sold it to me.

Used this to check which way round the short blade fitted, no instructions with my standard seal. Nice tip about the wall end cutout. Old dirty leaky seal gone, new watertight seal fitted. Cheers for a great clear vid 👍

Bought this as advised by the shower shop it would fit my p shaped bath shower screen. The instructions/pictures that come with the seal are not clear as to what piece to use. I had to use youtube on my tv to get a bigger view of it and paused to try and see. Eventually I saw that you use the male piece and the female with 3 flaps not the one with two flaps. We had the gap at the wall end but after cutting the hard plastic and trying to fit it, the male part moves as you bend the seal to fit it.
All in all it took 2 of us about 2 hours of trimming, sliding, trimming and trying to figure it out. Now it's fitted, no-one is moving that door. 😂😂 I'm not sure how long it will be before it needs cleaning and how well it will re fit once removed for cleaning. At £14:99 I hope it lasts. But thank you for the video as we wouldn't have been able to do it without it.

Worked it out in the end. Show the individual parts from the ends and find a bath without a sink in front of half of it! redo the instructions , they arent clear though it is a hard thing to describe. It's a great product that's the thing !

Silly question but should the long blade on the screen door seal be pointing into the bath or out of the bath when showering?

    • @Inventive_Creations
      @Inventive_Creations  Před 2 lety +1

Hi there. Not a silly question at all tbh. It will work either way. The long bottom fin should be around 5mm more than your gap size and the shorter blade positioned on the inside of the screen. This will help deflect any water away from the bottom fin. Hope this helps.

I can not hardly see the products in the video, I am unclear on what clicks where??. I bought the Uniblade shower seal to replace my old one, however your descriptions are brief & the video does not zoom in when you are describing each product. The diagram in the leaflet is unclear.

Hi there, if the video and instructions are not helping then I would suggest getting someone to fit the seal for you. The are both quite clear in their descriptions and most people that buy the seal fit it with ease. Many thanks.

@@Inventive_Creations classic listening to the customer! Zoom in on the ends or draw them larger on a piece of paper so people know which bits goes into what. Notice you don't use your own instructions! They are that good. Don't spoil a great product for a hapworth of video

@@yesihavereadit there are drawings on the instructions that clearly show what piece goes where. It’s just a case of reading them. As many people fail to bother with this or may not understand them, we made the video as a back up. If that is not trying to help then I am not sure what else people expect? A free fitting service probably ?

Great on a newly fitted shower screen, and only if you have mucked up the one that comes with the new screen you won't need this product.
This does not fit all curved screens also not suitable for all gaps, again nice if you have enough room to limbo under, but most do not.
Advice, if you have limbo space then good to use but definitely do not use if not.
I 'be been supplied a few of these by customers and found there not suitable for all screens that have been fitted correctly old or new

Jef Brock Shower screens don't work full stop. I have had three different ones in my house over the years and not one of them has worked. I still end up with water on the floor. They are the worst invention ever. When I get round to it I am going to make my own.

You need close up shots. Otherwise it's impossible to see what you are doing and the video is no help whatsoever.

Hi there. If you cannot see the seals clearly enough on the screen, I do also explain the seal shapes in the video to ensure which pieces should be used in the situations shown. There are also clear drawings on the instructions enclosed for double confirmation. It really isn't rocket science. Thanks.

Hi Stuart - with respect to your feedback, how many other products have you purchased that offer both paper and video instructions. We feel that your statement 'the video is no help whatsoever' is a deliberate insult to our efforts in trying to ensure people understand the product. Let me add there is also a phone number on the website if you need more help and perhaps we can explain what it is you don't understand over the phone - .
      Many thanks, Darren.
