Maliesingel Mix Sessions - Techno Vinyl set 2003 - 2006

'Maliesingel' refers to the street where I use to record these vinyl sets during my student period. I had so much fun during these times, especially because Holland was flooded with recordshops all over the place.
Times got different, a lot of shops were closing, and besides I tried stuff like timecode records, ableton, serato, the fun in mixing was pretty much gone.
I cherish this vinyl set a lot, it embodies a great time in my life. Never really got the chance to put it somewhere online, but we recently experimented with recording time-lapse shots. I thought it would be a nice opportunity to combine it with this set from 15 years ago. Time flies by, but the set itself is quite timeless in my opinion.
Expect some deep techno ish with dub influences, some minimal and tech house here and there, altogether, quite a colorful set.

Since Resolume isn't able to auto-fade a videoclip seamlessly into the next clip (it actually needs to stop first before the new clip fades in). I've build a simple patch in Touchdesigner. You basically load in a folder with moviefiles, hit start and it will loop the entire folder, cross-fading seamlessly. This TOX is available as a FREE download at our Patreon here: / 64878824
