I've got the koken version of the 'Problem Solver' - I've found it convenient for when I am lazy to quick change impact hex or torx bits, you could even pair them with those awesome Koken impact 1/4in hex shaft swivels sockets!

@@TxToolGuy From my experience, it's ALWAYS a good decision to leave a dealership! And betting on yourself is the best way to go. Over the past few years, there have been a bunch of new shops crop up in the Austin and Dripping Springs area. They're all full tilt, full time. Good for you!

Nice shop man! Funny I was commenting on your first tour video the other day, didn’t know you had a video up for the new one. Couple things I can pitch in on - I happen to be a Toyota fan myself, and it’s nice to see you guys generally using OEM parts. I know as a tech in the field that parts store offerings are generally terrible, but seems to be even worse for Toyota. That said, one thing I went out on a limb on and have so far been very happy with is SuperPro. I have their control arms and adjustable sway bar links. Been on there for about a year and a half and have been great so far.
Also, I’ve got that Matco air hammer too. You’ll love it. It’s nice and ergonomic, not quite as loud as the 3050B, and hits just as hard. I’d personally really like to see a boot made for it though - no luck on that yet…
Oh! We also have a version of that vise in my shop. I believe it’s made by Yost, but Yost seems to keep the ADI version to themselves, which is the one we have. We’ve been beating the snot out of it for a couple of years and it’s taken it like a champ. I’ve been down the rabbit hole on vises and I’m convinced you can’t buy a better vise unless you want to cough up BIG money for a Fireball Tool vise.
Anyway, it’s looking good man, there’s a lot of potential in your shop.
thank you! yeah we prefer OEM but also dabble in the aftermarket world and do lifts and what not so we do use some A/M but only high quality stuff. so far the matco air hammer has been a beast

Nice shop man! I’m 18 and have been in the field for a year working at Honda and a shop is the dream. I know you’re a toyota guy but can you make a video about your come up and career. Currently 50/50 wether i want to specialize on Asians like Honda for example or Europeans like Mercedes. Both really interests me. Best of luck man

Boss just ordered himself a set of capri polished wrenches..they’re nice for the money..I was impressed with the foam case they came in. Good luck with the new shop..👊🏻🇺🇸

I have a set of 1/2in blue power sockets (impact) and have had no problems other than a sticky 21 flex

Recovering from foot surgery watching CZcams and stumbled across your Channel. I've been twisting iron for 31 years. I've updated all of my Snap-on Longneck to a brushless and picked up the sealed head Matco 3/8 drive ratchet. One of my favorite air tools was the Mac 1/4 drive sealed head air ratchet. I also have that Matco air hammer in it hits like a whore! What a great air hammer! I don't know why people don't like that Matco color of red I kind of like it because it's different. I envy the younger guys who have the time to start on a new Endeavor in life good luck young man
I feel it on the 6pt wrenches, not really useful in small areas mainly for torque should be XL

Hey, you should check out the Sp tools battery line - it looks like the exact same oem as the Matco stuff, might be a cheaper way to get batteries/ skins!
i’ve looked at their stuff and have some sockets. wasn’t too impressed, maybe the wrenches or battery stuff will be better

In terms of air hammers, which brand is better?
I have access for Matco, Mac and Snapon on my country
i used snap-on for years, and it’s a heavy hitter. but this matco is pretty badass. i’d say it comes down to which dealer you prefer, either matco or snap-on, both hammers are legit.

Hi there just wondering since you guys are a toyota lexus shop. Will you be servicing hybrids and do custom performance work? Motor swaps, installs, fabrication?
yep! when we left the dealer i was expert certified and the owner of this shop was master and hybrid certified so we will be a full service toyota/lexus shop. we do a lot of off-road and aftermarket stuff as well, currently no custom fab because we don’t have the man power yet. but in the future hopefully!
