When I played Age of Empires as a kid i loved building a shitload of trebuches and just bombing the hell out of the enemy from a mile away. Good video man, glad to see your enthusaim for the new channel!
Honestly, coming from the pokemon videos this is a little jarring, but I can't say that I'm not pleasantly surprised. You were always one of my favorite sort of "poketubers" that I especially like for their personality in general, up there with people like Big Yellow and Reverend. Safe to say that I'll be sticking around for at least a bit longer with you and I'm glad to see that you're making some sort of content you enjoy and that your editing and general flair are still well intact without the Magcargo avatar goober. Good luck with your future youtube ventures, you really deserve it!
It’s very difficult to determine the true cost of the cost of the weapon, for the same reason that it’s difficult to determine its benefits. What if the defenders had provisions for a year? Then even assuming trying to win through attrition, you might well still lose soldiers to disease. Are 9 months of provisions for your soldiers costlier than the weapon? (3 months of provisions regardless so not counting that) Then maybe it’s worth the cost of hiring the crafters and the labourers. The cost should be weighted against the outcome. With it, it caused the surrender of the castle. Seems like it worked exactly as intended.
Is that the boulder from that one episode of Thomas? The one with the face?
IT IS!
My first guess was Rock of Ages 😂
