she grew as a person...therefore, if she did leave...she would be leaving with a little more class this time around

This show was iconic! Fran’s entire wardrobe from her hair down to her shoes was always on point, especially in the later seasons.

I wish you'd have kept in my favorite scene in the episode: when Maxwell calls Sylvia who says something like, "I haven't talked to her since you called her a brainless, big-haired schmegeggy." Her delivery of that line kills me every time!

a real "do as i say not as i do" type of dad. though to be fair, cigars aren't considered as dangerous, they're not nearly as addictive and you're not meant to inhale the smoke. not saying they aren't bad for you, they are, but it's easier to take cigars in moderation. also it's a class thing i guess and it was the 90s, we know a lot better about a lot of things now

Also the “lucky Bill even let him on that plane” is a reference to an incident where Newt was angry Bill made him ride in the back of Air Force One, rather than up front.

what i love about fran is that you may call her lots of things but definitely not smart. she came up with a solution instead putting in jeopardy her relationship with maggie or hers with her father, even though that would be the right thing to do.
