People need to be aware that this is Tech SALES. It's a sales position, likely selling software. Those positions are usually commission only, which is why they are willing to pay you for first 3 months until you are "on your own'. They are not training you to have tech skills, they are training you how to be a SALES person. The average 78k salary is OTE, meaning "On target Earnings" which is a term you always see in a commission-based job posting. If you're good at sales you can make good money. Hope this helps.

This is what I was thinking as soon as I saw sales.
I would add though that tech sales is one of the few "sales" careers where you do usually get at least some sort of base salary. Depending on the company, your experience, and location, it's usually between 40-50k which isn't a ton but at least it's something. The rest of the 78k OTE is the commission based portion that depends on your performance. As you gain more experience, prove yourself, and move companies, your base can increase a lot (as well as your OTE).
I just broke into tech by going the tech-sales route! And let me tell you ! It pays off !!😅 I started my channel to help others make that decision. It’s worth it guys ! Truly tech is the way to go!

This is nothing but the truth!! I literally just took a Tech Sales bootcamp! No previo experience. My background is Customer Service.
I started the Tech Sales Bootcamp 3 weeks ago and this past week I just landed my 1st 80k job in tech!!!!!! You do not have to have a degree for this!
I am 34, customer service background. No tech experience. And only a HS Diploma and a Associates degree. Being an SDR in the tech industry is where the money!!!! I went from making 35k to 80k all because I signed up for the book camp and studied my ass off.
Mind you….it happened in 3 weeks for me, please be advised it does NOT happen that easily and quickly for everyone! As a single, black woman, I am so glad to be the 2.2% of black women in tech. This has changed my life!
I will officially be around 115k-120k in about six months! Get into tech!!!

@@SadaeBeyTv 60k base, 20k commission at the lowest. It’s so easy to get that 20k commission or surpass it a bit more once you get in the rhythm.

@@BrianBeBallin1_ they emailed me giving me and told me to follow up with training in a sales bootcamp. But I had already found full-time work from some other training (not vendition) ...however if you do apply be prepared to do video responses. it was an interesting experience because i'm not a video type of guy. But it took me out my comfort zone. Plus I applies late like an hour before sleep thinking it was going to be a quick thing to just fill out an online application. What killed it was I had to do mad takes before sending the final video responses. plus I had to be up early the next day. so my advise, get good sleep and make sure you have nothing in the way that day before applying
@@BrianBeBallin1_ I've read so many comments lol no one seems to have an accurate or positive update, or people just don't come back to answer questions to the curious people in the comment section; this should have been accurately tested and attempted by at least one person! Or the one putting out the info..geez!
